*Harry Potter was on his way to his last class of the day, Herbology, taught by Professor Pomona Sprout (Yes. The teacher that takes care of plants name is Sprout. Haha funny. Whatever) He strode through the hallway and turned a corner in the corridor where he ran into Vincent Crabbe and George Goyle, the prick of the school Draco Malfoy's lackies. "Hey, Potter." Crabbe spit. Harry flinched. Spit had gotten all over him. He ran his hand across his face and wiped the saliva off of his face. "Hey Crabbe? Cover your mouth when you speak, huh?" Crabbe sneered. "Shut up Potter. Before you get in a little accident. I bet your little friends would hate to find you lying beaten and bloody somewhere. Who knows who'd find you though." Goyle chuckled like an idiot. Harry laid a hand around the pommel of his wand in his back pocket. "Back off." Harry warned. "We're all late. Just go to class." Crabbe laughed in Harry's face. "Oh, the goody two shoes wants to get to class Goyle." Goyle laughed again. "Haha yeah. Go to class Potter." Harry suspiciously eyed them both. "What? Did Draco put you lugs up to this?" Harry sighed in frustration when Crabbe and Goyle looked at each other. He knew Draco had. Maybe he should have Hermione hit him in the face again. "How'd you know that?" Crabbe stupidly asked. Harry tried to walk around them but they moved in front of him. Harry sighed again. Goyle and Crabbe began to walk forward ominously before a voice rang through the almost completely empty corridor. "Hey!" Crabbe and Goyle turned to see Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger hurriedly walking towards them. The two Slytherin students backed away. "What's going on here?" Hermione asked. The two looked nervously at each other. "Nothing." They both agreed. "Leave. Now." Hermione forcefully told them. They both hurried away. "You okay, Harry?" Ron asked. "Yeah I'm fine Ron. Those two were probably going to try to attack me. That probably wouldn't have worked as well as they hoped." Hermione smiled and Ron nodded. Hermione began to speak "Well-" before she was cut off when the torches blew out. "What's happening?" Ron asked. "I don't know." Harry responded. Of course he didn't know. Why did everyone always expect him to know? Suddenly a raspy voice spoke from the darkness. "Harry Potter?" Harry drew his wand. "Lumos" A bright light was emitted from the end of his wand and he shone it to where he thought the voice came from. But nothing was there. The voice repeated. "Harry Potter?" Hermione and Ron drew their wands and performed the light spell as well. Nothing was around them, and the voice sounded as if it was coming from all around them, everywhere. Hermione shuddered and asked... "Isn't it daytime? Why is... why is it so dark?" The three students came closer together before all of their wands lights shut off at once, plunging them into complete darkness. Harry jumped. Then the voice screamed. "Potter!" It screeched. Harry heard a scream behind him and turned quickly. "Lumos!" The light blinded him but he heard Ron yell. "Hermione!" Ron shouted. Hermione lay crumpled, slumped against the wall, her head tilting simply forward. Ron ran to her but before he reached her an invisible force lifted him into the air, and his scream was cut short when he was thrown into the shadows, out of Harry's light reach. He yelled "Stupify!" and shot into the darkness, but the spell hit nothing. Then his throat closed and he couldn't breath. His wand fell from his hand and clattered to the floor before he was slammed into the wall. All remaining breath left him but he couldn't tell if he was passing out. He already couldn't see anything. But he felt himself failing. He flailed in the dark, but he felt nothing. Nothing was strangling him. Finally, his consciousness left him but not before he heard one last word. "Potter..."
