When I got back home, I called Alyssa to come over immediately.
"Soooo how'd it go? Did he say yes?"
"Even better," I said "He asked me for my number!"
"Oh my gosh Maddie, no way," Alyssa said with an ear to ear grin on her face.
"Well we better do my homework. I got a little distracted with this Carson thing."
"Yeah me too," Alyssa said looking a little disappointed.
"Hey I have no idea what to do for the Algebra homework can you help me?"
"Yeah of course girl!"

*time skip*

Spring break started a few days ago and it's been 9 days since I asked Carson to to my party, and it's in 3 days. I've already started packing with my sister, Paige. We were adding a few rings to our bags when my phone buzzed beside me.
It's Carson
I paused before I answered.
"Heyyy Carson what's up," I asked, trying to hide the nervousness in my voice.
"Hey Maddie, I was just wondering if you could text me your address so I know where to get dropped off on Sunday."
I started freaking out, all excited even though I know it's normal for him to ask this.
I go to sit on my bed.
I told him my address, and he thanked me.
"I'll see you on Sunday Madds. Can't wait to fun with you."
Did he just call me Madds?
Good night Carson."
I hang up.
I flop on my back, kick my legs in the air and squeal like a little girl.
I can't wait either Carson. I can't wait.
