'~ today is saturday, it's been one week since you and ron had your big argument. he still hasn't said a word to you, and he's barely acknowledged your presence. this week has been one of the hardest you've been through with one of your closest friends not even speaking to you.

it's been super awkward and uncomfortable within the friend group. you've been sticking by hermione's side more than usual. her, harry, and ginny decide it's been awkward long enough, and that you and ron need to make up. they've devised a plan to save your guys' friendship . . .

you, ginny, and hermione are walking down the main street at hogsmeade. you're eating a chocolate frog you just bought from honeydukes.

"oh! y/n, there's somebody that wants to meet you by the great lake today. they want to talk to you." hermione says suddenly.

"who is it?" you asks after swallowing the bite of chocolate you just took.

"i don't know, but they left you a letter. ginny and i found it this morning." she says as she pulls out a piece of parchment from her bag and holds it out for you. you take it and unroll it. in a neat cursive handwriting, it reads . . .

"they didn't leave their name." you say a bit confused. "how am i supposed to know who it is?"

"i don't know." hermione says while ginny just shrugs her shoulders. 

"i don't know about this, guys." you say slowly as you roll the parchment back up. "i mean, what if it's a trap or something?"

"y/n . . ." ginny says as she tilts her head to the side slightly and raises her eyebrows at you.

"what!" you exclaim, laughing a little. "i'm serious! you never know." you say raising your hands as you shrug your shoulders. 

"just go, okay? you'll be fine, i promise." hermione says with a soft smile.

"alright, i guess." you say returning the smile and chuckling slightly.
