INT. LOTTE HOTEL ROOM - NIGHT
Wade sits looking at the Christmas tree. The Boys II Men Christmas album plays quietly from the TV.
KNOCK KNOCK from the door. Wade gets up. He puts on his Deadpool mask and a coat. He grabs the duffel bag and opens the door.
Seo-woon stands there and looks a little uncertain at Deadpool.
DEADPOOL
Hello, chin-gu.
Deadpool walks calmly down the hall. Seo-woon squints his eyes at him.
EXT. MINESHAFT - IN FRONT OF THE DRILL - NIGHT
Men survey the drill, which is a little further in than it was before.
Jun-seo stands, watching the drill hungrily. Seo-woon comes up to him and whispers something in his ear. Jun-seo looks around to Deadpool. Who stands quietly behind him. Jun-seo whispers something back to Seo-woon who leaves.
JUN-SEO
(to Deadpool)
Not as happy to go this time?
DEADPOOL
Knowing it's the last time, no.
JUN-SEO
Had a good day today?
DEADPOOL
I had a great day, thank you. I got to meet my favorite K-pop idol. Which is the whole reason I wanted to come here. Don't get me wrong, this was a close second.
Jun-seo studies him.
JUN-SEO
We'll find them.
DEADPOOL
That's the spirit.
Jun-seo takes a step towards him when the sound of the power generator going out his heard. Then the lights go out.
But it is not blackness. A sea-foam green light emits from the drill.
JUN-SEO
(in Korean)
Move it!
MEN rush to the drill and turn it off. They pull it back. Deadpool looks around nervously.
Then Deadpool spots her. Claire walking slowly and quietly up to Jun-seo from behind him.
Jun-seo eyes are fixed only on the drill. Both he and Deadpool shield their eyes as the drill moves away and the sea foam green light floods the whole mineshaft.
Jun-seo lowers his hands and walks towards it, like an insect, fixated.
Claire runs and lunges forward, syringe in hand. Seo-woon intercepts and pushes her away. Deadpool moves towards Seo-woon.
He grabs Seo-woon, forcing him to let go of Claire, who then runs towards Jun-seo.
Yeong-soo runs past Claire towards the light. She rushes past her brother and jumps into it.
