Chapter 3

5 days left...

I wore the dress he gave me for my birthday. I wanted to make everyday about him till the end. I wore my makeup and took a deep breath. I am determined to make these 5 days the most memorable.

"Hello?" My best friend, Lucy called.

"Hi..." I said taking a deep breath trying not to ruin my makeup with my tears.

"How much time did you get?"

Those words were the ones I didn't want to hear the most. I don't want to be reminded of how much time I had.

"How much time did you get?" I asked the same question to her without replying to hers.

"50 years. What about you?"

I didn't want to say anything. I wanted to be happy so that Xylde could see my happy face.

"I tell you next time, I am going out with Xylde."

"Ooooo, okay I understand the assignment, I will excuse myself then. Byeee."

I giggle as I walk out to see Xylde leaning on the wall.

"Lucy called, sorry for making you wait."

"My love, I could wait for eternity if it's you, you look gorgeous, my darling."

I almost melted even when he is my boyfriend for years.

"Your face is red." He teased

"It's just the blush!" I replied while covering my face.

He laughed.

That laugh, I want to keep it with me forever. I want to hear it as much as can..

"May I?" He said as he reached out his hand.

"Of course, you can." I said in a teasing tone.

We both gigled and went to the car.

As he was driving I took a picture of me and him.

"What's that for?" He asked.

I giggled and looked at him

"You'll find out soon enough."

"So secretive, I thought, as couples we should not keep secrets?" He said teasing me.

We both chuckled and laughed.
