Penellaphe hopped off of Snowflake as she arrived somewhere in the forest. What she told the others, on how she was going to fine medicine for Jason, was part true. But, the other reason was that she wanted to think about what Reyna had told her since they left camp. She could've simply grew some herbs and plants near where the Argo II had landed, but she wanted to go somewhere far away from the others. The prophecy, the one that bothered her for almost six months was beginning to come true.

She walked into the clear forest, and bent down to the ground. She carefully placed her palm onto the ground, searching for the right plant in the area, and seconds later, Aloe Vera plants grew out around Penellaphe, and she quickly placed all of them in a small pouch. The perks of being a daughter of Ceres. She was one of the few children of the goddess of agriculture that had these speical powers, which she was very grateful, since she could using them as weapons and even medicine for injuries.

She sighed and walked around the forest in solitude. Her bare feet touched the fresh grass as she twirled around, poppies grew immediately wherever she had stepped foot on. Closing her eyes as she sat down, she let herself drown in her own emotions, whether it was angry, devastated, heartbroken, and tiredness, she allowed herself to let loose. She wasn't perfect, she was just human. Well, as human as any demigod could be. Penellaphe wanted so bad to talk to Jason, but wherever Jason was, so was Piper, which made it impossibly hard. At the end of the day, she didn't ask for Jason back, she just wanted to let Jason know.

Her love for Jason never died since the start of the disappearance, and it would take much more than just a simple trick from Juno to let this love for him disappear. It was extremely hard for Penellaphe to except, but she knew Jason was in love with Piper. From the way he looks at her, the way he sneaked dishes in Piper's bowl, or the way he would grab her hand and whisper sweet nothings to her randomly, made it obvious to anyone who was watching. She wanted what's best for Jason, and if that meant dating Piper, Penellaphe would never be the one to ruin it for him.

Suddenly, she could feel a cold breeze of wind blown her way. Penellaphe stood up within seconds and whirled around in all four directions, but to her surprise, no one was there. Then, on her right shoulder, she felt as if someone had placed their hand on her, but still no one was even near her.

Such a pity young one. The person you love doesn't love you back? Something whispered.

Penellaphe forced herself to stay calm and snapped her finger. Vines with thrones on it grew from the ground at an incredible speed, weaving in the air, but nothing was caught.

"I demand you to reveal yourself this instant!" Penellaphe yelled.

Remember, dear, you were cursed by the fates from birth, fighting it won't help. The voice said again, this time even raspier.

Penellaphe dropped the pouch on the floor, shocked. She never knew she was cursed by the fates. The prophecy never said anything about a curse.

This is your destiny, embrace it. The voice said, getting further and further away from Penellaphe.

"Wait, what do you mean curse? How did you know about my prophecy?" She asked.

All will come in time, be patient my dear. The voice muttered, and the coldness had slowly disappeared.

"If you tell me now, I promise to make your death much less painful." She bargained, running towards the source of the mysterious voice.

Destiny. The voice whispered, before she felt as if something was lifted off her body and the coldness faded. Penellaphe looked around the forest, but everything seem to be in tact, there were no traces of monsters.

As quick as possible, she hopped back onto Snowflake and raced back onto the Argo, hoping Annabeth would have some answers to this mysterious encounter.
