When she arrived next to the ship, she found Hazel, Leo, and Piper on deck. She jumped off Snowflake and raced towards the gangplank. She knew she needed to wait until everyone was present, so she gave a little wave at Hazel and turned to Piper,
"Can you take me to Jason? I have something that might make him feel better."
Piper nodded her head and led her down below deck. She had no time to have a tour of the ship, which she needed to remind Leo to give her one. As both girls entered the infirmary, Penellaphe could see Jason lying still on one of the beds, his face extremely pale. Penellaphe pulled out her pouch with one hand, and took a flask out with the other hand. She pushed the Aloe Vera into the small flask and closed the cap, she snapped her fingers and what use to be plants inside the flask turned into a green liquid matter. She motioned Piper to open Jason's mouth and poured every bit of the liquid into his mouth. Penellaphe sighed in relief as color started coming back to Jason's face, and his breathing steadied.
Piper grabbed Jason's forearm and glanced back at Penellaphe with tears in her eyes.
"Thank you so much, Penellaphe. Jason's would be so happy to see you when he wakes up."
Penellaphe glanced at her watch and looked back at Piper,
"He should be awake in about, three, two, one."She said as Jason slowly opened his eyes.
Piper immediately went over and gave Jason a cup of water, helping Jason sit up in his bed. Penellaphe couldn't stand looking at the couple, decided stand up and head towards the door,
"Well, I'm going to leave you two. If you need anything, Jason, do tell me." But just as she was about to walk out, Jason scooted to the side of the bed,
"Wait, Penny, don't you want to sit for a bit and catch up?" He asked, looking at her with pleading eyes.
"Please don't call me Penny." Penellaphe said, trying to suppress her tears, "I have to run the plans with Leo on our quest, maybe later."
Penellaphe turned her back against the couple, not wanting to show her vulnerable side.
"Why do I feel like you are ignoring me?" Jason asked, raising his voice slightly. Penellaphe sighed but didn't dare to open her mouth, she was indeed ignoring him, but clearly it still wasn't working. Every seemed to be about Jason this day, or heck, even Piper to be honest, and she was seriously having enough. But before anyone could say anything in the infirmary, Leo and Hazel stumbled down next to her, panting heavily.
"Where's Percy, Annabeth, and Frank? We really need to head off." Leo said, taking off his tool belt and googles. He didn't even realize the tension between the three. His eyes roam around and landed on Jason, who was still half glaring at Penellaphe.
"Hey man, glad you're awake. You've been knocked out for so long."
Jason gave a small smile at Leo but he still looked irritated at Penellaphe. She cleared her throat and pushed Leo out the room,
"Come with me, I need to ask you about something."
Without giving him much explanation, she dragged Leo out of the infirmary with his shirt and pushed him to the controlling center. Leo mumbled something about hurting him, but Penellaphe couldn't care less,
"Where did you and Hazel go?" She asked, staring at him with and intense glare.
"Can I tell you later? I really need Percy to be here so we can lift off." He said, not meeting her eyes.
She was about to ask why when Percy, Annabeth, and Frank stumbled onto the deck, with roofing tar covering their shirts and hair.
"What in the world happened?" She asked Percy, who gave her a genuine smile as he lifted up the bucket of roofing tar.
