The Ninth is Found! Prepare for War!

      Shortly after Nezu arrived and examined the body of the being we spoke and I explained how I got a new dragoon form and with it was able to take the being down and save Aizawa. I told him what I have learned from the book that it carried. The beings were called Tugadh báis or death bringers. Lead by a very powerful overlord Trogach Veringburst. They have taken several worlds and slain all those on said worlds. They begin by making deals with the most evil beings on the world they plan to take in order to learn more about the world then build power before launching strikes against the most powerful beings on the planet and slaying them.

    If what I read is accurate then this world is fated to be attacked by them. I must grow in power as fast as possible in order to counter the beings. Nezu ordered All Might to give me his story and explain everything. "Holy crap. Then the being who killed grandmother after she gifted you OFA was the same one who nearly killed you? Are you sure he's dead?" All Might sighed. "6 years ago after he wounded me they were unable to recover his body. I know not if he was killed." I sighed as I used my most powerful healing magics on Toshinori. "This will restore your full strength All Might. We will need it if we must face the bringers of death as I am not fool enough to believe I alone can take them all on." Toshi was happy to have full strength again but smiled at me and asked. "Do we have the time to bring a 9th in to train them in order to face the bringers of death?" I smiled knowing that a 9th would be even more powerful than him. "Yes but we first need to study the history of your predecessors Toshi. I have a feeling we don't quite know everything about how the massive power would affect them." Toshinori smiled. "Understood. If the three of us work fast we can find the full history of OFA." I smiled as we got to work.

     A few days later and we discerned a fatal flaw in our plans. If OFA is given to a quirked person the power would slowly kill them. I sighed at the new information we had but All Might had two ideas. One give me the quirk but that would place further stress on me as I'd still be facing millions of enemies all alone. We quickly ruled that one out. So he laughed and suggested one Melissa Shield. A quirkless girl who was the daughter of his former partner in heroics in America. We decided this would be our best shot. I chuckled. "Shall we go there and get both her and her father and bring them to UA?" The two pros smiled at that and nodded. "Cool. I can fly there in my dragoon form while you two call them and explain they're needed here." Toshi chuckled and nodded. He started the call while I transformed into my Red-Eyed Dragoon form. "Make it fast young Feld. We need her to get the transfer as soon as possible to help us in our war against the bringers of death." I smiled bright. "I'll have the two of them here within an hour." I texted mom and Ocha explaining I was needed to bring a pair of scientists to UA to bolster our defenses against the oncoming threat and would be gone for a couple hours. They told me to be careful and do what I could.

     Once Toshi learned the current location of I-Island and told me I took off. I'll never get over just how amazing it is to fly and how fast I can do as such. Luckily I was gifted special privileges by the hero commission due to Nezu and Toshinori explaining that it was necessary for my growth as a hero and since I'm quirkless it counts as support gear. Not exactly a lie but not the truth either. Anyway. I flew at incredible speed to I-Island and landed there even faster than I anticipated. I was met by the Shields and explained who I was and I was to be the one to take them to UA. "Wow Shimura you have an awesome quirk!" Said the bubbly blonde bombshell Melissa. I smiled as I blushed a bit. "Oh this isn't a quirk. Like you I am also quirkless Melissa. I'll explain on the way. First I must grab on to you both and carry you back to UA." I said as I walked over and grabbed them up in an arm each. I quickly cast a barrier over the three of us so they wouldn't be affected by the temperature and speed. I began to tell my life story to them as I flew at even faster speeds to reach UA.

     To say they were surprised at my story would be an understatement. Once I landed and dispelled the barrier they were both in the process of rebooting their brains. Toshi and Nezu also helped explain everything about myself and this new threat. Then Toshi told the Shields his own true story he had hid from them. They were upset at him but once I explained the reasons for why he kept it all a secret they were a bit more understanding. I quickly gifted both of them magic before All Might made his plea to gift Melissa the quirk. "But.... Why me? I'm just a quirkless girl. I would not be a good choice..." She said doubting herself. I smiled at her. "Uh Melissa if I may. I'm just a quirkless boy yet even I have grown powerful due to exterior forces. If I can do this with my power alone I would but the quirk needs a quirkless to work the most effectively. I can't take down the coming evils by myself. I will need many powerful allies to aid in this war. You are not just a quirkless girl though." That confused her for a bit. She asked me what I meant and explained. "One of my wingly powers is mind reading Melissa. I read your mind the entire time we flew here. I know your desire to help others and protect them. That's why you chose to be a builder of support gear. To protect and help as many as you can with what little power you possessed. OFA would be perfected in your hands. Especially with the magics I gave you. They will greatly help you in mastering said quirk faster than if any other person held it. With all of us here we can make you even stronger than Toshi is. This will be needed in this coming war for Earth. Will the two of you allow us this request and help save our world together with us?" Melissa and David talked for a bit and I kept out of their minds as I didn't want to intrude on their conversation. After 30 minutes they came back and gave their answer. "Yes. I will accept OFA. Papa said he will go back to the island and work on sending the best supplies he can to UA in an effort to build up the defenses here. He will also work on building things to help fortify other key places worldwide with the rest of I-Island scientists." We smiled and they began the training of number 9. I took David back to I-Island before heading back he told me to keep his daughter safe. I smiled at him "David I will not allow any harm to befall her if I can prevent it. She is key in defending this world. With the whole of UA and I-Island working together we can prepare this world for the war. The bringers of death don't understand the hell they've wrought upon themselves by taking my world and trying to take this one." He smiled at my words and I flew back to UA. On the way I told mom and Ochaco to head there too.
