Chapter 12

Her whole life was a lie. Her tears wouldn't stop flowing down her cheeks. She cared less wiping the tears off that meant nothing to her. Her head down as she crouched down beside bed and hugging herself cried over her own fate.

Her vision blurs up remembering how few hours sitting in a room that didn't belong to her. This whole place wasn't feeling like a home. Her home was somewhere else.

She doesn't belong her. Her whole body hurts and ache feeling loneliness hovering her mind. She felt guilty betraying her love and family who was there for her in every aspect of her life. She whimpers loudly but no one was there to console her.

She thought why did she sacrificed her life to return this place where no one was for her. Her heart sank as she thought of everything. Her body shivers as she cries hugging herself.

Her head snaps as she felt something moving by the window. She got startled and holds her breath in.

She starts moving back only to get hit by the bed. Tears rolls down her cheeks. Her body froze feeling something bad was going to happen.

It scared her to death. She eyes widen in shock and a whimper escaped from her mouth as their eyes met up. Her eyes didn't shifted away while his gazes on her while taking small steps towards her.

He crouched down to her level and cupping her face brushed his thumb against her cheeks wiping the tears off.  He pulls her against his chest. That hug was needed. She broken down hugging him tightly.

Her turmoil broken down seeing him. He didn't leave her when she needs him the most. Her heart flutters finding him standing against her odds.

His fingers brushed into her hair gently. He dropped numerous kisses. Even his eyes were filed with tears but he held his tears back. He knew he had to be strong, he couldn't broke down when she needs him the most.

They stayed hugging each other. They were not ready to break the huge. He could feel his shirt getting soaked by her tears. He didn't mind it though but his heart broke in zillion pieces knowing how vulnerable and broken she is right now.

He softly caressing her hair broke the hug and cups her face in his hand. He stares her.

Neil : I don't know why are we like this baby. There must be reason why you decided to live with them. I still wish and hope this is dream but sadly reality it's not a dream. How can I make my heart understand. How can I make myself believe this didn't happen? You didn't trust me but follows their words coming here only to suffer. Should I be concerned or let you do what you want to do baby? My heart is too weak at this moment. I might should sound too selfish baby but please don't leave me for them who don't deserve you. You don't deserve this pain baby. I can't see you like this anymore. Please tell me what made you come here? Why don't you trust me? Why you had to broke my trust? Was love not enough for us?

His mouth shut as she placed her hand on his mouth covering his mouth. She vigorously shook her head and looks at him with tears streaming down her cheeks.

Avni : Neil.. don't. No your love isn't weak but my whole life is a lie Neil. I just don't know where I stand or what should I believe. I am so tried of my life. I really thought my past won't hunt me but how wrong I was, my past is still and I can't forget them. Family who thought I was dead only wants to see me suffer Neil. How wrong can I be? How should I explain all this? I don't even know what I will be witnessing Neil. I don't know what to expect.

Her voice sounds so broken and hurt. He looks at her trying to understand what she was saying. He knew she wasn't in right state. His hand rested on her shoulder.

They were crouched down so close to each other but still felt apart away. There was distance between them which can't be seen by anyone.

Neil : will we be able to get back together?
