He smiles in his sleep as he felt someone ruffling his hair. He flicks his eyes open wide and looks at swetha who sat beside him ruffling his hair. He shifts his head on her lap and snuggles making her smile at his childish.
She couldn't believe he had grown up so quick and will be married man in few days. She couldn't be any happier than seeing her son settling in his life with someone he loves so much. She was so happy and lucky to have a son like him. She looks down and found him still sleep. She didn't have a heart to wake him up but had to seeing the time.
She softly calls his name out and continues brushing her fingers into his hair.
Swetha : Neil wake up. You have slept whole day now. Look at the time Neil. Come on wake up.
He winched and opening his eyes looks at swetha moving his head on pillow and lying down on his back staring at the ceiling before groaning.
Neil : mom, please let me sleep for another half an hour. Why do I need to wake up sp early?
Swetha looks at him and slapped his elbow making him winch in pain. He rubs his elbow and looks at his mother who picks a pillow and kept it on other side.
Swetha : look at this lazy groom who doesn't seems to be bother what is today? You have been sleeping like a horse and doesn't realise the time Neil. Neil wake up and see the time. It's going to be evening almost. How could you sleep so much? Now get up. There is so much things to do.
Neil slaps his head and twisting his body digs his face in the pillow and groans realising today is their sangeet function later in the evening. He tilts his head and flicks it over to his phone and stretching his hand he grabs his phone and opens it only to find a message from his would be wife.
His eyes diverts to his mother who have rushing around the room and cleaning it while cursing him under her breath. He shook his head and opens the message and smiles brightly seeing the picture and message underneath the picture.
It was picture of last night that one of his cousins clicked a picture of them where Neil kissed her cheek lightly while she was getting her mendhi.
