Chapter 4

Next morning, Avni snoozing the alarm sat up and hugging herself remembered how she behaved with Neil last night.

Guilt kicks as she recalled how she talked with everyone especially Neil who is her boyfriend and best friend.

She ties her hair in bun and getting down bed went up washroom.

She took brush and toothpaste, she glanced herself in the mirror and looked so miserable. Tears dried off and her cheeks and face looked puffed and red due to crying whole night.

She sighs and gathering some courage and wanting to be strong for herself and Neil quickly splashed some cold water over faces and doing her business walks into shower.

She got undressed and took shower relaxing her body and mind. She felt much better.

Avni wraps a towel around and walks out of the room. She stops walking as she spotted Neil in the room.

If it was another day Avni would have ran back in the washroom and hid herself but today she stares him and sadly smiles as she approached towards him.

Neil who walked into Avni's room not knowing she would be woken up by now enters and found her nowhere in the room. His glanced fell on the washroom and seeing the lights on he knew she would be there.

Neil thought to go back into his room but something stopped him back, he stayed back in the room and was thinking about yesterday's night when the washroom door clicks opens.

He snaps his head and looks at Avni who comes out of washroom in towel. His eyes widen seeing her like that.

Neil opens his mouth to say something but stopped as he felt some weight on himself.

He got surprised as Avni crashed into his chest and starts sobbing.

He very well knows his love, she is feeling guilty from yesterday night.

Neil rubs her hair and pecks numerous of times.

Neil broke the hug and cupping her face wipes her tears off with his thumb then placed a soft kiss on both of her cheeks.

Neil : why are you crying love? Have I ever made you feel low?

Avni : i am sorry Neil. I shouldn't have behaved with you like that. I just didn't knew what happened with me. I was worrying about something  and took someone's anger on you. I am really sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you. Forgive me Neil.

Neil sighs and wisps her tears that was about fall.

Neil : I am not angry with you love, you don't have to feel guilty about anything. All I want you is to trust me and share your problems with me. I won't force you but once you feel comfortable sharing then please share it. I can't see you like this. It hurts seeing you hurt.

Avni : I will share with you Neil. I need some time.

Neil : take your time much as you want love. Remember you will always find me next you in every situations. You know what you are to me. You are my precious and most desirable person. I can't let anyone harm you.

Avni felt blessed and content having Neil in her life. Her life wouldn't have been better if she didn't meet Neil.

Avni smiles and nodded her head making him smile too.

He pats her head and asks her to get ready. Avni immediately blushed and looked down as she realised in what state she was standing front of Neil.

Neil smirks and chuckles seeing her blush but didn't tease her.

Neil : go and get ready. I will be waiting for you to join us at the breakfast table.

Avni giving a nod rushed back in the washroom as expected, Neil chuckles and walked out of the room.
