"Anna sweetie come meet Angelina, my girlfriend" my mom says as she tells 'Angelina' to sit down on the couch
I go to the living room and there she is
Looking at me with wide eyes
After a moment of silence my mother speaks
"I believe you two have already met"

"Um yeah I'm actually her teacher too" Angelina says
"Oh really? That's so interesting that your a teacher" I roll my eyes at my mother's words as she caresses angelinas arm
Mom I love you but get the fuck off of her
"You know I always forget what subject you teach, why don't tell me again"my mom asks
"She teaches English mother"I say while looking at miss Rodriguez dead in the eye as if to say 'Really my mother? I can't believe you'
At this point I was just glaring
My mom must have noticed since she said
"Anna could you go get August so he can meet her?"

I just walk away

*knock knock* I knock on my brothers bedroom door
"Come in" he says and I enter
"What's up" he asks
"Moms girlfriend is here and she told me to come get you" I flatly say
"Oh let's go then" he tells me
I go to the living room again only this time with my brother
"Hi I'm August" he introduces himself
" Hi August I'm Angelina" she smiles
"Why don't you guys sit down and we can talk" my mom says
As we sit down I say "talk about what"
As I'm staring at those grey eyes again but this time she's staring back
"I'm not sure, how's school?" My mother seems to ask but it's as if it went into one ear and out the other
August then hits my arm to get my attention
"Schools good, I think I'm doing better" my brother says
"That's good to hear honey what about you anna?" My mother says
"Its fine"
"O-okay well um"my mother says but I interrupt her "how long have you guys been dating?" I ask
"Just a few weeks" Angelina says
"But its been the best few weeks of my life"my mother says
"Well I should start on dinner" my mother says as she gets up from sitting down
"I'll help you" Angelina offers
"Oh no it's fine, your the guest so just sit here and relax" my mother insists
As she leaves to the kitchen
My brother then pulls me upstairs into his room
"So that's why you were acting weird! You like my mom's girlfriend!" He whisper yells
"What? No" I say
"She's jays mom"I say
I mean I'm kind of telling the truth, she IS jays mom
"What?! Why is she here!"he yells
"Keep it down!"I shush him
"But she's also my teacher"i say
"And um....in class we...kissed well not kissed, we almost kissed"I admit
"She's your teacher?? You-you kissed josh's mom? You kissed mom's girlfriend?!" He says
"We didn't kiss!! And I didn't know she was dating mom!" I tell him
"Kids what's all the fuss up there!"mom yells from the kitchen

"Nothing mom!" August says
He sighs "You like her?" He asks

"She likes you back?"
I shrug
"Well, talk to her" he says

"Ask her if she really likes mom or if she likes you, if she likes you then make her break up with mom, if she likes mom then leave them be" he says
As he hugs me
