"Get in the car" i tell her
"Well damn but not before I get to know who that girl is"Anna says as she points to the brunette
"She can be a serial killer for all I know and your both planning to kill me"
"Hi I'm-" she starts "nuhuh get in the car so we can go somewhere and then you'll know who she is. And the fuck Anna?! Do you not trust me? Like I would have the effort to kill you and hide your body please girl that's too much work" I say
She laughs and gets in
"To the place where I will be killed" she says and points to the road ahead of us

Anna's POV
Nah I bet this mystery girl is Katie's girlfriend
But why didn't she tell me? Like she knows about Angelina well she did walk in when we almost kissed but I would have told her anyways
We arrive at.........a quicktrip?
"I have to get Gas but come on we can get slushees and shit" she says
"And you wonder why you turned out rainbow. That's cause you ATE rainbows" Katie says as she watches me mix all the flavors together
I laugh
"Ok what's up with the girl Katie?" I whisper as I watch the girl choose between takis or hot Cheetos
"I'll tell you later when we go to the mountains"
"We're going to the mountains? And I have a better idea 💡 how about you just tell me now" I say
She rolls her eyes
"Come on I don't even know her name and I've never seen her in school before plus if she were just a regular friend then you would have told me about her the moment you met her....is she your girlfriend?" I ask
She sighs "yeah surprise surprise I'm gay" she says as she waves her hand kind of like this emoji 🤷🏻♀️ with a mix of jazz hands you know?
I frown" why didn't you tell me sooner?" I ask
"We'll I didn't know until I met her-"
"Well you should dump her just kidding but seriously she's actually debating between takis or hot cheetos TAKIS OBVIOUSLY!" I yell the last part to the girl
She smiles and leaves the Cheetos where they belong (no hate to cheetos they taste great but I'll always choose takis)
"What's her name?" I ask
"That's a good question a great question even" she says

"Haha her names-" she starts "Marie" the girl smiles she reaches her hand out to me for a handshake 🤝
"Oh fancy are we" I say as I shake her hand

"Yes they are, they're used in business meetings and shit" I say
"Your actually kind of a teeny tiny bit 97% stupid" she says
"No your stupid" I say but I get interrupted by a ring coming from my phone
I pick up and put the phone to my ear
"Hola mi amor what're you up to?" Angelina says
"Hi" I blush
"Not much just third wheeling" I say as I watch the two hold hands and giggle
"Who Katie?" Angelina laughs
"Yeah turns out she has a whole ass girlfriend I just found out like 3 seconds ago
"Hmm. I just called to ask if you wanted to.....go out with me?" I hear a slight tremble in her voice
"Are you nervous?" I tease
"Shut up yes or no" she says
"I think I would be crazy if I said no but aren't you worried people will see us together?" I say
"We'll be going somewhere kind of far from here so I'll pick you up at 4?" She asks
"Okayy can't wait" I say smiling as we both hang 🆙
"Was that your loverrr" Katie says
"Shut up" I say as I walk past her and pay for my slushy
