[A/N] Hii everyone! It's my mum's birthday today! We aren't doing much but I got her a cake and she was so happy! I love you mum 🫶🏻

Also yes I am british lol so apologies if any of the terminology sounds weird as i'm writing. I just can't bring myself to use british terms cos it sounds weirder lol so deal with me using American words

How did he know my name? I watched as everybody, except from Connie, giggled. They were all looking at me, waiting for my reply.
I stuttered and looked at Jean.

"H-how did you know my name?"

He smirked and said "Your name tag. I saw your name on your uniform at work. Eren had also told me about you".

I felt so silly. Of course he saw my name tag! But what about Eren? How did he know him?

"Eren, what exactly is going on?"

He laughed and looked to Mikasa for help.

"Just explain it to her Eren. You can't keep her waiting".

He sighed and stood next to Jean.

"This is Jean. He is my friend that I met while filming. He's an actor just like me and he goes to the same university as us. He's never actually been to class though because he's been too busy".

He looks at me and i signal for him to carry on, pretending to be annoyed.

"Remember how Mikasa said that I was visiting my friend before I went to see her yesterday? Well that was Jean. He finished filming a few weeks before me and went home but I had to stay behind and redo a few scenes because of some issues. I needed to see him when I got back because I had some things to give him. The producers gave me some of our costumes and props so that we could keep them as memories and I needed to give Jean his. That's when you met him yesterday while you were working".

That's when it clicked in your brain.

"SO IT WAS YOU! You're the one who fell off his skateboard!!"

Both Jean and Eren laughed. Eren rolled up his jeans to reveal around 4 bandaids stuck to his leg. He must have fell pretty badly.

"Yep he was the friend I was getting the bandaids for!" Jean replied.

Eren sat down and began talking again.

"Hey i only fell because you were distracting me Jean!"

"You fell because you were trying to be cool Eren. Don't blame me!"

"I did look cool thank you very much!"

Everybody was laughing and the boys continued bickering. I still had so many unanswered questions but I decided to leave them for now.

The lady from behind the counter, who you now knew to be Jean's mom, soon arrived and gave the remaining food out to everyone. She looked at Jean and patted him on the back.

"Why don't you sit down with your friends for a bit love? I've got everything under control in the kitchen".

She pushed him and Jean sat down in the free space next to me. We smiled at each other which his mom saw. She looked at me and smirked.

"My my you are pretty aren't you! Are you single? You would be the perfect girlfriend for my Jean! See love? Why can't you date somebody pretty like her?"

Everybody around us laughed and me and Jean both went red. I could feel my cheeks grow warm and Mikasa was teasingly shoving me.

"Right everyone, enjoy your food! If you need anything please let me know".
