16. Blackout pt.2

Aliiysa's POV

I took her to my house instead of hers because the house was still a mess from the fight with her dad this afternoon.

...oh yea we fought him and the whole living room issa mess...I'll tell y'all about that later tho.

What happened before we left the hospital lowkey pissed me off. I told Jewl to leave her alone, and she fought her. Even though Jewl tried to make it seem like Skie started it, I knew that wasn't true. Skie is real chill, laid back and don't fw nobody. Jewl on the other hand is for some reason obsessed with me, and I've seen how vengeful, petty and spiteful she can be.

"So...tell me what happened." Skie said, laying down on the couch.

"You want the short story or the long one?" I asked taking the seat next to her.

"Both, short first."

"Well, when we found out that he had a whole other family. I guess you can say you blacked out because you ran up to him and started punching him in his face n shi. I tried to grab you off him but I retaliated when he pushed you on the floor and got on top of you. So at this point we both beating his ass. He's on top of you, you giving him blows to the face while I give him blows in the back of the head. But then shi started getting crazy when you kicked him in the eye. That's when he started punching you nd shi. I tried to put him in a headlock, but he pushed me off his back. That's when I grabbed the umbrella holder thingy and knocked his ass out with it."

"Mmm." She responded

I continued."But I noticed you were knocked out too, so I checked your pulse and you were okay, I rushed you too the hospital. I stayed for a few hours then I went to get you some clothes."

"Is he still there?" She asked

"I dragged him out the house before I left with your clothes. He might still be there, I'm not sure." I said

She nodded, looking up at the ceiling. Her teeth clenched.

I can tell that all the shit he told us was coming back to her as her eyes started tearing up.

"I hate him." She said, finally letting the tears roll.

I couldn't blame she for feeling that way. When he said all that shit it made me not like him either. Like how tf can you jus str8 up abandon your first born, and create another family elsewhere. The one thing she wanted was to have a family....a complete one. But she never got it bc he was too busy wrapping presents for his "family". It was jus her and her mom, but now that she's gone, she don't have nobody.

"Comere baby." I said.

She slowly sat up and sat on my lap, facing me. I held her as her tears stained my shirt.

I dropped a few tears myself. I truly hated seeing her like this. All I wanna do is make her happy, if I could take all her pain away and somehow absorb it I would.
