It has been one week since I've reincarnated. I've gotten about as big as an adult's forearm now. I didn't know I would grow this fast considering I was only at about a palm's length when I was born. But I guess it's just a matter of being in a different world.
I learned that the two birds who I thought would eat me when I first met them, were actually my parents in this world.
They were really nice, and after a while of grieving over my past parents, I came to accept that I was no longer the old me and started calling them father and mother, at least in my thoughts for now.
But there's just one small problem.

{3rd Person POV}
In the middle of a great forest, there laid a large nest, big enough to fit an Elephant. And in that large nest, there were three birds. Two of which were as large, maybe even larger, than the nest.
The largest of the three was flapping her wings in concern.
The smaller of the three was trying to coax something into the mouth of the smallest.
All the while, the smallest had an indecipherable face.
This was the current situation.

'What... the... fuck...'
Azzolin was conflicted.
In front of him was his father, trying to feed him a mouse that had it's head ripped off. And in the back, was his mother, wondering why Azzolin didn't want to eat the mouse.
'I should've been more specific about what I wanted when I died...'
"Eillin! Why is our baby not eating?! Did we do something wrong?! Is he sick?!" Azarath questioned, her anxiety through the roof as she flapped her wings.
She had never had a child before, and therefore, didn't know much about why her baby wouldn't eat. She could only rely on some of the other female Crowvills when it came to this stuff, but they were no where to be found!
"Az, calm down. Maybe Azzolin just doesn't like mice, I mean, he liked the fish you got him last time, we can just get him that!" Eillin said, hoping to calm down his mate.
"But I heard from Anair that diversity is important in the baby's diet!"
It was times like this that Eillin realized that they were both still new to this parenting thing. Oh how he wished he could talk to his father to ask him how he did it. But alas, he died at the hands of a foolish hunter 100 years ago.
As the two were going back and forth about what to do, Azzolin decided to at least try a little bit of the mouse. He hopped toward it as he tore off a small piece with his beak.
That was one of the many things he learned, his beak was just as sharp as a newly opened knife.
Azzolin tentatively gulped down the small piece of mouse meat, hoping that he wouldn't throw it back up.
Surprisingly, Azzolin didn't feel he would throw up, instead he felt that it was delicious.
He quickly gobbled down the mouse as his parents stopped arguing in the background.
"Ei... he's eating the mouse!" Azarath exclaimed, her feathers puffing up in joy.
"That's right. I guess he just needed a bit of time to try it out..." Eillin muttered, making a mental thought to himself to let Azzolin try out the food before giving it to him.
And in that moment, the two of them had an epiphany.
