I couldn't see anything...
It was dark, but it felt comfortable. Like a warm bed.
...
Why can I feel? I thought I died?
Did I... really reincarnate?
Since I can remember that, I probably did...
...
I hope my mother and brother are doing okay.
I'm pretty sure they made it out of the fire.
My father...
...
Anyways, where am I?
I don't expect a god to come up to me. I never believed in them anyways.
Am I perhaps being born again?
That'd be a really awkward situation...
...
I feel the urge to move. Why?
I'll ignore it for now.

I feel I've gotten bigger.
It's still dark, but I can feel better now.
I'm not in a womb. The surface of what I'm in is solid and I'm in some sort of liquid.
I'm feeling sleepy...

I have gotten bigger.
I have figured out that I am in a shell.
...
I feel the urge to break the shell I'm in.
Should I?
I should.
-Peck- -Peck-
Crack!
Just a little bit more...
-Peck- -Peck-
CRACK!
{3rd Person POV}
The baby bird pecked his hardest before the shell finally gave out.
He tumbled out onto the nest as he adjusted to the sudden change in temperature.
" Pip! Pip! " The small bird chirped out, signalling two, much bigger and colorful, birds.
The larger of the two was a massive black crow-like bird, except it's neck was more elongated and it had a rainbow coloration on it's back, travelling down the spine until it's tail feathers.
The slightly smaller one had a more vibrant color scheme however, with bright greens and yellows almost everywhere except for the underside of the crow-like bird, which was black.
The two birds looked down onto the much smaller baby bird. Suddenly, the larger one spoke.
"Look how cute our baby is! I've waited forever for this day to come, and now it has!" The bird spoke, in a slightly feminine, but husky voice as she waved her wings in excitement.
The smaller one replied.
"Our baby is the cutest, no doubt about it. No one can dare to compare." This time, the bird had a masculine voice. He leaned down to nuzzle the small bird. "I'll take care of our baby, go hunt."
The female bird nodded as she jumped off the tree branch that the nest was settled on and soared into the sky.
As soon as the female bird left, the male bird carefully settled inside the nest, careful to not hurt the fragile bird.
"Hello baby. I am your father, I hope you grow up wonderfully. You shall be granted a name to commemorate your birth."
"Your new name is..."

"Azzolin."
