A few days later...
Location - (L/N) Residence, Living Room
Your POV
For the last few days, I've been listening to Hello, Happy World! songs on my way to school, and back from school. It almost feels like my stress reliever at this point. But ever since I started listening to these songs, I haven't been able to seen much of Kokoro and the others. Wherever they are, I bet they're out there making people smile.
Listening to these songs usually help me get through the day, but today, I wouldn't be so lucky. It all when started when I was coming home from school one day. As I walked in the school, I found my father and sister arguing in the living room.
"Umm, am I interrupting something?" I asked.
"You won't believe this bullshit..." Yumi said. "Dad said that he finally met someone."
"Wait, you did?" I asked.
"Yes, son. I am in love, and I think she is going to be the woman of my dreams."
"But dad, what about that woman you cheated on mom with?" Yumi asked.
"You don't we don't stay in touch anymore." He said.
I guess I can understand why Yumi is upset about this. After all, my dad hasn't been the best when it comes to keep women happy, hence why he was responsible for mom commiting suicide.
"Dad, you sure you want to go through with this?" I asked.
"Yeah, of course." He replied. "Why don't you two want me to be happy?"
Yumi and I stared at each other, completely unsure what to say to him. We don't want this woman to be heartbroken, but at the same time, dad does deserve his happiness.
"Hey, (Y/N), do you think I can talk to you alone for a moment?" She asked me.
"I guess?"
"Sorry, father, but could you give us a moment?" Yumi asked and dragged me to her bedroom.
"Umm, okay?"
