Chapter 3 - 238 and 235

<^> Third Person POV:

Across the facility, a black haired boy with red eyes was crying.

Across the facility, a small dirt field was blackened with smoke.

Another boy was crouched next to the crying one. He had spiky blonde hair and red eyes. He was rubbing the other ones back.

"I'm sorry," The blonde says. "I didn't mean to go that far."

The black haired boy sniffled and smiled up at the blonde. "It's fine." He said. "We need to train anyway, right?"

An older man walks toward them. He grabs the black haired boy wrist and pulls him so he stands. It earns a yelp from the crying one, and a hey! from the blonde. "You," The cruel man says, pointing at the blonde. "Keep training, you need it. And you," The man pointed to the other. "You're too weak, your power is not useful." He sneers at the boy. "You'll be taken care of."

"No!" The blonde yells. "He can still help!"

The black haired boy was trembling vigorously. "How, do you think, the runt can help?" The cruel one glares down at the blonde.

"He's the only one that can stand my power!" The blonde says, tearing the cruel man's hand away from his friend. "Everyone else is weak. He's strong enough to stand me!"

The cruel man glares down at the eleven year old before sighing and leaving. He sends a nurse to the boys.

"Hello." The nurse says. The blonde stares at her. He watches her take a syringe out, but he was used to it. When she injected the thing in his arm, he didn't flinch. He sits down as she injects it into his friend's arm. He waits to get energized again.

When the black haired boy sits down, the blonde sighs. "You have to strengthen your power, I can't keep protecting you like this." He says. The other boy looks down and the blonde adds, "I do think you're strong, you can fight me anyway." The boy brightens at this.

"Thanks!" He says. "I'll get stronger. I promise."

The blonde rolls his eyes. "Until then, let's keep fighting, Eijiro."

Ochako and Tenya were being pulled out of their cells/rooms. Denki had woken up, but he was too weak to train. The two were being pulled to, what they called, the dirt.

(They call the training area 'dirt' because there's no grass of life. Just dirt.)

When they enter the dirt, they both stop in their tracks. Just a few feet ahead of them, were two boys. They looked the same age as them, but that was besides the point. More kids? This place just keeps getting worse. Ochako thinks as the nurses push them forward.

The blonde notices them first, his face hardening into a scowl. When the other boy sees them, he glances at the nurse behind them.

"Introduce yourselves." She orders. Ochako looks at Tenya for permission. She relies on his opinion in situations like this.

"We're not training?" Ochako asks. When the nurse shakes her head, she furrows her brow. "Then why isn't Den- I mean number 219 here?"

"Number 219 is recovering from last session." The nurse says with a fake smile. "You are to meet these ones today. Number 219 will meet them later. Now introduce yourselves."

Eijiro stands up and walks over to them. "Hi, I'm number 238, or Eijiro." He says. He sticks his thumb back at the blonde. "That's number 235, or Katsuki." He raises his eyebrows at the two. "Who are you?"

Ochako speaks first. "I'm number 216, or Ochako."

Tenya sticks his hand forward. "I am number 237, or Tenya Iida." Eijiro grins, showing off his shark teeth, and shakes Tenya's hand.

Katsuki walks over to them with a glare. He takes Eijiro's hand out of Tenya's. "Are we fighting them?" He asks the nurse. She shakes her head. Katsuki scowls. "Of course, I can't fight anyone cause I'll kill them." He mutters.

"You can still fight me!" Eijiro says cheerfully. Tenya and Ochako blink. Katsuki looks at him for a moment before grinning.

"Um." Ochako says. "If we're not training.."

"Your learning." A new nurse comes into the dirt. She was carrying five iPad looking things. "We can't just have you learn how to fight, we need civilized weapons." She passes out the iPads to everyone. "Now, sit, sit."

Once they did, the nurse smiled and the iPads turned on.

"Now, I know you all were in between four and five when we.. ah, took you all." She rephrases. The kids look at her with surprise and annoyance. None of them had known the exact age they were kidnapped. "But I assume you all have common sense."

"You kidnapped us!" Katsuki yells at the nurses. "You bastard, don't talk to us like we had a choice!" The one which wasn't talking gives him a glare. Tenya and Ochako stare at him, worried for their new friend as well as being scared of him.

The talking nurse simply raises her eyebrow and waves to the other nurse. Katsuki glares at the nurse as she brings a weird white mask. She sticks it harshly on Katsuki's face, causing the boy to flinch back. But whatever the mask did, it resulted in the blonde to stop glaring at the nurse. He blinks slowly, presumably breathing in whatever the mask was releasing, his head fell on Eijiro's shoulder.

Ochako whimpered. Eijiro checks on his friend and frowns as the dazed boy. The nurse smiles. "Now, please watch the video on the screen." She says. The kids look down at the iPads, and stare disappointingly at the screen. Eijiro positions Katsuki's head so he was looking down at the screen.

The video was about some children doing math. Simple equations were shown, like 1+1, or 3-2.

After the video was done, all it did was offend the kids. Tenya looked down at the iPad with dismay. The nurse presses onto another video.

"What about Sho?" Ochako interrupts. The nurse looks at her. "I mean.. I forgot his number."

"Ah, you must mean number 234." The nurse says. "He is not able to meet with people right now, he is.. resisting." She starts the video.

A video about Science, then English, then Health, World studies, all the things you would learn in school. It's probably why, since they had never been. After all the videos were done, they went from the top again, except to first grade level.

After the second video was done, a loud boom echoed into the dirt. A nurse opened the door that led into the dirt. She looked ragged, her hair and face were covered in dust and.. frost?

The two nurses by the children knew immediately what happened. "Children, stay here. Do not move." The nurse says. She runs into the building.

Ochako looks at Eijiro and Tenya with confusion. Eijiro took the time to take the mask off Katsuki's mouth. The blonde blinked and coughed out the remaining gas of the depressant. "Ew, I hate it when she does that." He says.

"She does that to you often?" Tenya asks with a concerned expression. "Having depressants multiple times a day cannot be good for your health." Katsuki shrugs.

"She only does it when he disobeys her.. which is like, eight times a day." Eijiro says.

Ochako frowns. One of the nurses comes back. "Well, children, it seems like number 234 is going to join us after all." She says. The other nurse comes in, pulling along Sho. The state he was in shocked all the eleven year olds.

He had a black eye, and had two shackles on his wrists, covering his hands completely. The shackles connected themselves to two more on his ankles. He also had a gag in his mouth. A metal one, which constricted him even more. He stared at the nurse which was pulling him towards the others. She pushes him on the ground and huffs in annoyance.

They all stay quiet as they continue the 'lesson'.
