Charlies pov

It's the weekend again. This summer holiday seemed to be disappearing in the  blink of an eye this week. we'd met up in the evening on Monday because of work and taken Nellie on an impossibly long walk, we went to the on cinema Tuesday, and met up with Elle Tao and Issac on Wednesday after I had finished work Tara and darcy were out of town on a mini trip, Thursday we babysat Oliver again. Yesterday, being Friday, we'd spent the day in bed watching movies eating and just being together one of our favourite pastimes.

It's now Saturday morning. I'd stayed the night at nicks last night. There was a small beam of light forcing itself through Nicks haphazardly closed curtains as was usual as I slowly woke up. I found myself entangled in Nicks arms he's lying flat on his back, snoring peacefully, my head resting on his topless chest with my brain suddenly catching up with where I was I let out a content and comfortable hum "morning sleepy" Nick whispers kissing my forehead "mmm morning, you sleep well" I ask shuffling slowly out of our hold so that I could actually see Nick and talk properly and he makes quick work of pulling the covers over our bodies and pulling me back into his side "yeah like a log actually! So got any good games to take today?" he asked his voice is soft and his lips pressed against my hair as he speaks "Mum's lending me her tipping point game, Tori has said I can borrow her chaser game, I'm also bringing cards against humanity and a harry potter card game... recon, that's ok, " I ask, not bothering to look up at him when he laughs but feeling happy and comfortable feeling his joyful vibrations against me."Is that okay?! It certainly tops my shoddy attempt at just bringing Mario Kart, " Nick confirms."Oi! Mario Kart is not a shoddy game, thanks!" I say this makes Nick laugh even more."You know what I meant, " Nick says. I look up at him this time, capturing him in a lightning quick kiss."Luckily for you... I do, " I say, prodding him gently in the chest 

"Nick! Charlie! Breakfasts ready" Nicks mum Sarah suddenly calls, Sarah was a wonderful, gentle caring woman and like a second parent to me she was firm but fair and as long as we respected her rules she respected our boundaries and didn't seem to notice whenever (all the time) I woke up in Nicks bed accidently (on purpose) the mornings after I stayed over the night before (most mornings) "how many times have we told your mum we don't need a three course breakfast every morning and we can fend for ourselves not that I am complaining because your mums pancakes are something else!" I say Nick shrugs and starts moving to get dressed and go downstairs."She's a human version of Baymax. What can I say!" Nick tells me as he's pulling on an old pair of shorts that are longer and a white t shirt,"and I wonder who you get that from?" I smirk pulling his blue jumper over my head and my own grey jogging bottoms "oi what was that for" I say as a pillow from Nicks bed suddenly launches at my head nearly sending me flying "for being too quick even for you and for stealing my jumper... again" he says raising his eyebrow "ohhh this jumper" I say pulling at the hem slightly and raising my eyebrows "hadn't noticed I'd put it on" I say before quickly bolting to the door and into the kitchen before I got whacked again 

We find ourselves fumbling into the kitchen, making enough racket to make Sarah look up from her pan where she was cooking. "Good morning, slow pokes!" she smiles brightly,"hiya's mum, " Nick says brightly "morning Sarah? sleep well?" I ask pulling out two glasses and filling them with orange juice for Nick and I as he went and stood patiently waiting for the pancakes where his mum was stood "I did thanks Charlie, so what time are you two off to Otis's?" she asks, dishing up the food onto our plates."Um about - half one, I guess, " Nick says, scooting around the other end of the table and sitting down. It was currently half ten in the morning so we still had a good amount of time before we needed to leave as we lived in a very small area everyone's houses were very close by I lived a fifteen minute walk from Nicks, Nick was a ten minute walk from my house and Nick's was about twenty minutes from Otis's twenty five if we walked slowly which today we probably would "and your sleeping over - that's what Sai's mum told me the other day when I bumped into her in town?" Sarah asked, popping a fork full of pancake into her mouth. we both nodded in agreement, suddenly making ourselves busy eating. "That's exciting!" she says finishing off her plate and loading it into the dishwasher "Nick I am going to visit Judith next door today she's just been discharged from hospital and her son has asked me if I could look after her whilst he's away in London this weekend" Sarah tells us and Nick  who promptly gives a confident thumbs up while finishing his breakfast "alrighty then! have fun at Otis's!" Sarah tells us and disappears upstairs
