At her dad's house, Izzy sat on the sofa with Callum, Ben, Kat and the boys all wondering around the room. With smiles and questions echoing around the living room's four walls, the family asked one another what they were doing for tonight's Haloween's night.
"Well, I think that me and Callum have a date night" Ben smiled, wrapping his arm around Callum's torso, "And because we have not long got back together, it's going to be more than great"
With Callum at awe with what his boyfriend had said, with a blushing grin, he agreed,
"Yeah, we've got a reservation at Walford East and it's gonna be amazin'"
With a lit up face, Kat said,
"Awh, that'll be lovely, I hope you have a great time"
She then turned her attention onto Izzy, who was sat with her eyes locked on her phone screen, and questioned,
"And you, Izzy, what have you got planned for tonight? Anything with your friends?"
"Friends?" Ben pifted with a chuckle, "They are all younger than her, by like two years"
He then changed his expression to an agreeing face and fairly said,
"Actually though, I guess because they are the only people she hangs around with because she has no friends her own age, I guess you could call them her friends"
Lifting her focus from her phone to her brother, she rolled her eyes and told him, defending herself,
"Nugget and Denzel aren't even a year younger than me and I do have quite a few friends, who are my age, from school but they don't live around here so I don't get many chances to hang out with them"
"Oh yeah?" Ben chuckled, looking at Izzy with raised eyebrows.
"Yes" Izzy told him, with an annoyed pout.
She then turned to Kat and answered,
"So, yeah, Kat, I will be spending my Haloween with Nugget, Amy, Denzel and Lily. We are just planning to hang out at Amy's for the night and me and Lily might sleep over"
Kat smiled and then told her,
"Well, you have a good time and call me if you need anything. Your dad told me to keep a close eye on you whilst he's away"
Rolling her eyes again and shifting them back down to her phone, Izzy sighed and then listened to Kat's shouts for the boys to get ready to leave.
After she rounded them all up at the door, she called goodbye with a wave and left, leaving Ben to mock his little sister a little more, with awkward smiles from Callum and more and more shouts and eye rolls coming from Izzy.
That night at Amy's and Ricky's:
Six kids and no adults sat in the living room on Haloween night. Denise and Jack had gone out to a restaurant for a spooky, festive dinner and left the kids by themselves. Well, actually, they left Amy, Lily, Izzy and Ricky at home by themselves, after they left Denzel and Nugget snuck in with the life of the party.
Setting a bottle of Vodka down on the table, Nugget scanned the room for excited, disbelieved smiles but all that got thrown in his face was refusals and unsure expressions.
"What the frick is that?" Amy asked, in surprise, anger and worry.
Sighing and rolling his eyes, Nugget asked Amy, irritated,
"Seriously!? You actually don't get out enough"
Making it more obvious for the angry girl, Nugget shouted,
