New family

Kitty and Thiago knew something was wrong with their mother. She was so upset about Carmen's death, she made a mistake. She went out and got drunk. She got pregnant too. And like Carmen, only one kitten survived. A male. He had sky blue eyes and was a tuxedo cat.

He looked a lot like Kitty and Thiago. Nix let Kitty name him. She decided to name him Carlos. Carlos was under Kitty all the time.

Kitty would let her little brother hang with her and Valeria. They had fun.

Thiago actually got a girlfriend and Carlos loved her. She was so sweet to him. Her name was Rose.

Rose is a Himalayan cat. With the most beautiful blue eyes. She was so sweet and loved Thiago so much.

"You're afraid of water?" Rose asked Kitty. Kitty nodded, she looked down in shame. "Oh, don't be ashamed, dear. It's natural." She smiled at Kitty happily.

Kitty also loved Rose like a sister. She would walk with Kitty and Valeria and talk about simple things and about relationships and such. "Sissy Rose!" Carlos cried out. "Now, Sweetheart. It's time for bed." Nix put her little one into his bed. Rose told her goodbyes and left for the night. "But I'm not tired, mama." Kitty groaned when Nix was putting them to bed.

"Sweety, I'm sending you to a school tomorrow." Nix confessed. Kitty opened her eyes wide. "What?! Why?!" She whined. "Because. I heard your friend is going too. It'll be okay." Nix kissed Kitty goodnight and left her room. Kitty was worried about going to a school. She slowly drifted off to sleep.

"Kitten, time to wake up." Thiago woke Kitty from her sleep. "Rose is walking you and Carlos to school." He smiled as his little sister looked drowsy at him.

Kitty got ready and helped Carlos and they met Rose outside. Rose walked and talked on the way with the kids. They finally got to school and Kitty met Valeria.

Half the day as went by and it was alright. "Hello." The teacher walked up to Kitty and Valeria. "Oh! Hey, Miss Joy!"

Their teacher, Joy, was a Ragdoll with pretty light blue eyes. She was super nice and loved children.

"That kitten over there. Her name is Maria. How 'bout y'all try to be friends." Joy suggested. Kitty and Valeria agreed and walked over to Maria. "Hey! I'm Valeria!" Valeria introduced. "And I'm Kitty." Kitty introduced herself. "Oh. I'm Maria." Maria shyly introduced herself to the girls.

They hung out and became really good friends. The day ended sooner than expected. Kitty talked all about her friends and her school day.

Though, the happiness was short.
