It felt weird to sit in the Laboratorium that was empty and ancient. It was almost as it got weirdly abandoned by its people. The only furniture that was occupied by me and spider were the two Blue, spinny chairs.

When I decided to look out of the blue-tinted glass windows, that's when I realised how beautiful Pandora really is. The plants were especially eye catching and hypnotising; the vibrant colours and shapes they were made out of were beautiful, extremely beautiful. It's definitely not something you'd get to see on earth.

Before I glanced back at spider, I looked down at my orange forearm that had brown tiger stripes; it was easy to see all the goosebumps that formed in such a short time. They were so visible, I bet spider would be able to see them if he wanted to.

I saw how narrowed his light bushy eyebrows were; he wanted answers. "Tell me everything, right from the beginning." He pauses. "No lies this time, just one hundred percent honesty, okay?" He completed the sentence in a demanding tone.

My whole body was burning up, yet extremely cold at the same time. I was not ready to have this conversation, but as uncomfortable as I was, I had to tell him the truth.

-Flashback-

So in conclusion, me and my people are homeless. The sky people were trying to hunt us down badly and we had nowhere else to go. My parents handed me down the responsibility of leading the citizens of our clan to any place where we could feel safe, and protected.

They instructed me to take a trip all the way to the omaticaya clan, which I wasn't too keen on doing. I was considering protesting at the back of my head but, before I got a clear minute to re-think everything, they decided to give me another ted-talk about how I "need to become familiar with being responsible for everyone and being in charge" because I'll be taking over the throne eventually.

I don't get why they act like everyday is my last day before officially becoming the leader. But regardless of me and my parents sharing two different opinions, here's what's happening; We have been travelling for hours, climbed all the mountains, crossed all the rivers. We were here, finally.

As I was trying to pass through the rocks and plants without possibly fainting from lack of sleep and dehydration, we were getting all sorts of crowds and whispers around us; All of this because we look a bit different from the others. Every time I took a step, I had a heavy courage to drop on my knees; that's how exhausted I was from this boy-scout trip.

"Stay where you are." I flinch at the deep female voice that I heard on my upper right side. My eyes quickly glance at the na'vi that was speaking to me. She had an arrow bow in her hands, pointing at me. Her look showed no fear, it seemed like as we were a threat to her.

I took a look down at her chest and saw a special garment, only royalty wore. So she was the queen, I thought. I Quickly faze back to reality after I look back up at the arrow bow she was holding in her hands."Please, don't shoot! You shouldn't see us as a threat, we need your help." My voice chords were trembling slightly and I tried my best to not blink; I felt frightened.

I start taking off my travel backpack slowly without breaking any eye contact. Everyone else that was on the road trip behind me saw what I was doing and mirrored my actions. We wanted to show peace.

"Who are you? What are you doing here?" She started interrogating us and getting more impatient. I didn't want to anger her.

Suddenly, I see someone making their way through the plants behind the leader to see what's going on. It was a man, who also seemed to not be ordinary. His garment was a bit different, due to him being the male leader of the people.

"Woah, Neytiri, calm down. What's going on? Are they threatening us?" So that's her name, Neytiri. The Na'vi, who's name I don't know turns around to face us and starts speaking louder. "Who are you?" He asks loud and clear. "We are the ash people. We have come to ask for your help.."

As I make the statement, next thing I see is a crowd of the forest people surrounding us. Okay, we aren't some sort of freaks in a circus show that have the same amount of limbs as a spider or some other freaky-looking animal. I could hear gasps and whispers of all sort around me. It was getting on my nerves at that point.

When the leader-without-a-name starts taking a few steps closer, everyone quiets down. My heart starts racing, my palms start sweating. The spotlight we were all receiving was so obstructive, I just wanted it to end. Please say yes I didn't come all this way for Nothing, is all I could think of. It felt like as if my hair stood up on my head like a cat.

The eye contact I had with the male leader now was intense. "We have nowhere else to go. All we ask for is a short stay." I tried softening my voice. I made a bold move subconsciously and put my hand on the unnamed- ones shoulder. What the fuck was I thinking?

I can see him making his way back to the female leader; he doesn't look too pleased to see us in his clan. "I won't be making any official decisions, unless I speak to the leader of your people." He announced while walking and I try to think of a quick way to grab his attention.

"I am the leader!" I shouted as confidently as I could. I have to represent me and my parents from a good side now. He suddenly stopped walking like there was an invisible wall stopping him from doing so.

He slowly turns his full body around to face me. His facial expressions looked more irritated than before now. What does he want from me?

"So you are? Where are your parents kiddo?" The unnamed-leader questioned in doubt but with a defence in his tone.

He looked me up and down, suddenly my hands catch his attention. "My parents put me in charge for the time being, they are far away fighting for our homes." If we still have them, I thought.

He still couldn't take his eyes off my hands. The male leader did something unexpected; He grabbed my tiger striped hand to take a closer look and then, put his hand against mine. It's like he was measuring it.

The crowd of the forest people was just observing us and didn't say a word. It was so quiet I could even hear the leaves dancing in the air and the bushes swishing left and right.

His grip on my hand was tight, the atmosphere was getting more intense. I could sense that the grip he had on me was filled with distrust and every emotion that was an unhappy one. I got so embarrassed, I felt the top of my head getting hot.

I slipped my hand away as quick as possible and looked down on the floor because I didn't know what to do. He turns around to face Neytiri, then moments later he speaks up.

"We would like to have a word with you. Your people can start unpacking for now, follow me." For now? Does that mean a day? A week? Few months even? I can't get my hopes up yet but I'm already proud of myself .

I passed on the message to my people and decided to follow him carefully. While I was following him, I was admiring all the nature the forest people got. When I got to touch every plant I walked past, I got jealous deep down.

The forest people have so much and get to live happy as forest people whereas us, the ash people need to suffer this minute and live in stress. The plants looked so full of color and healthy, it made me a bit jealous deep down. I could only pray our home was going to be rescued and made into a safe place again.
