Brooke Forbes. Legacies

Chapter Two

Alaric and Brooke watched as Kol realised and became tense. Brooke was shocked but was also understanding.

"Okay so they're back we knew it was a possibility when we opened the school. We need to tell the kids." Brooke said as she grabbed Kols hand.

She stood up and walked to her desk and pressed her intercom " can I have all members of the Forbes Salvatore Saltzman Mikaelson family to my office please."

Five minutes later the 10 kids along with Finn and Henrik walked in and sat on the sofas along with Brooke, Kol and Alaric. Brooke looked at both Alaric and Kol who nodded and smiled in support, the latter of the pair squeezing her hand in support as well.

She took a deep breath before looking at everyone else in the room. " we have a new student tomorrow. Her name is Hope Mikaelson."

After a minute of silence Damion spoke " he's come back hasn't he."
"Yes the family is back they are coming tomorrow at 2pm. "

Everyone in the room was surprised that Damion and Henrik hadn't kicked off. Kol looked at the two boys he saw as his sons. " your father is coming so if you want"

Kol didn't get a chance to finish as Henrik spoke up "no our father is sat in front of us. He is nothing just a sperm donor." Damion continued "Yeah mum gave him so many chances to be in our lives and he never took one. Your our dad not him. Him returning doesn't change that."

The adults in the room looked at the two boys in the room with proud smiles as Kol stood up and hugged the two boys. The 10 kids all looked at each other and nodded. They looked at their parents and uncles as Charlotte spoke for them " we would like to get to know Hope, Freya and Keelin. It would also be good to see Marcel again."
"Okay that's fine we can sort that out tomorrow. How about for now we go home and have family night" Brooke said as the adults nodded in agreement.

The kids all cheered and ran out of the office and school towards the cars. The adults took a slower approach towards the cars as Brooke asked them how they were feeling about the news.
"Like you said before we knew it was a possibility when we opened the school however I would of preferred to never see them again." Ric replied first.
"I was never apart of always and forever with them but with this family I am until the end." Finn answered. " I can't wait to see the look on their faces when they see us three are alive and the look on Niklaus's face when he sees your married to me." Said Kol as they all had a laugh at that comment.
"I saw how they were as a family for over 1000 years on the other side. I've not missed out on anything." Henrik said.
"Let's just put this aside until tomorrow and focus on family night yeah?" Brooke asked as the adults needed in reply. They got in the cars and drove home looking forward to family night but also wondering what could happen with the family returning back to Mystic Falls.
