6 weeks later.
Everything has been going so well. I check in with Alpha Alexander to see how Peyton is adjusting to life at Pearl moon. My dad says he is doing well and could go into labor with the triplets any day now.
I periodically check in at Blood river to see if they are following the new rules. Ezra and Edgar are adjusting well to life with their mates.
Ezra and Micah took in Perry once he woke up. He has many obstacles to overcome still. Ezra is adjusting to baby Nora and now helping a sixteen year old sexual abuse survivor.
Jericho, I and both kids are going to visit blood river today and stay a few days. I want to see the progress that is being made myself. I also want to see how construction on the new pack house and the other homes are coming along. I also want Jericho to see where the new school will be built.
I also have been extremely exhausted the last few weeks and had a loss of appetite. I chalked it up to stress. A lot has happened over the last few months.
I mean I became alpha of two packs with in days of each other. I also found my mate and became a step father instantly.
I scheduled an appointment for myself with Ezra. I also want Perry to meet Jericho. I think it would be good for him to talk to someone who went through similar circumstances.
Also Ryan the clinical therapist has met with Ezra. They have developed a therapy program to help those suffering side effects from their trauma. There is also a group therapy session that meets once a week for all that feel the need.
Jericho still suffers from PTSD but the nightmares are not as bad. He said he would like to check out a group session. I asked him to talk to Perry and see if he can convince him in joining him.
The group session is the day after tomorrow. That is why we are planning on staying 3-4 days. There is a lot I would like to accomplish with this visit.
We pack up our suv for the ride to blood river. I wish Rafael and Jean good luck caring for the pack while we are gone. If they have an emergency I know they will not hesitate to contact me.
About an hour later we arrived. We are staying in the former Alphas suite. It has been cleaned out and set up for us.
We have plans to meet Ezra for dinner. I think Jericho will get along with Micah. Nora and Sage are also very close in age.
I am drained after the drive. I offer to put Sage down for a nap. I also decide to take one myself. I wake to voices.
Yes he has been taking more naps lately. He has lost his appetite and has been sensitive to certain smells I hear Jericho say.
That is interesting. When did his symptoms first start. About five to six weeks ago Jericho responds. The other voice I now recognize as Ezra asking questions.
I have a theory it is very rare in an alpha though. Make sure he comes in tomorrow as planned for a check up says Ezra. Also for our dinner plans any allergies to food. Micah loves to cook and is planning on cooking says Ezra.
Not that I know of. Anything will be fine for us adults. Cherry is somewhat picky. She will eat about any pasta and she loves grilled cheese says Jericho.
We can work with that information says Ezra. I will see you all around 5pm for dinner. The baby starts to whine.
I get up and pick up sage from the bassinet. It is set up next to our bed. Just as I am changing him Jericho walks in.
How are you feeling Galaxy? Did you get some rest. I sure did, was that Ezra that just left.
Yes he was checking that we arrived ok. He also was inquiring about dinner and letting us know to meet them at 5pm. Micah will be cooking dinner.
That is nice of them. Jericho I heard you talking about me. Are you really that concerned. Yes Galaxy you are my mate.
When I notice a change out of the ordinary. I am going to worry. Ok, Jericho I will meet with Ezra tomorrow for a check up. Thank you Galaxy, I love you and want to guarantee you are healthy.
I understand Jericho. Why don't we get situated and relax before needing to meet Ezra and his family for dinner. Sounds good Galaxy.
We watch a movie and play with the kids until it is time to get ready to go to Ezra's. I really do enjoy my time with my mate and children.
When we arrive at Ezra's. Jericho remembers Micah from being locked up together. They discuss what happened and how lucky they are to have understanding mates by their side.
I know being 30. I never thought I would find my mate. If I did find them I expected them to think I was disgusting and reject me on the spot says Jericho.
I would never reject my mate neither would Ezra. We both have been waiting for our mates also. We were both raised with the knowledge of how special a mate is. They both nod in acknowledgment.
Micah dinner smells amazing what did you make. Ezra told me Cherry liked grilled cheese. I themed the dinner around that. We walk into the dining room and there is a large tray with many halves of sandwiches.
There is your traditional grilled cheese with American cheese. Then there is also Bacon, avocado grilled cheese on sourdough bread. There is a pear and Gouda grilled cheese.
I also made Roast beef and French onion grilled cheese. Then a gooey Gruyère and white cheddar grilled cheese with caramelized onions.
To accompany your sandwich selections I also made a creamy tomato bisque and an Asian broccoli slaw. I cut all the sandwiches in half so you can mix and match.
Whoa Micah you outdid yourself. Maybe you should open a cafe instead of helping Ezra in the clinic. Micah blushes while Ezra glares at me.
It all looks delicious. I am going to have some soup, broccoli slaw and start with the bacon avocado grilled cheese and the roast beef and French onion grilled cheese. Thank you Ezra and Micah for having us.
We put sage in the play pen with Nora while we eat. Cherry ate the traditional grilled cheese and also tried the pear Gouda grilled cheese. She actually liked it. I think because the pear makes it slightly sweet.
Dinner was great and we all caught up. Micah and Jericho get along great. Micah is also going to the group therapy and they are going to try to talk Perry into going. He is stubborn and quiet.
Perry did not say much the whole night. He ate his food and thanked Micah and went to his room. I mean he did almost die.
The poor boy went through a horrible ordeal. He has to come to terms with it all on his own. As long as he knows he has support and we are all there for him.
We thank them for a great night and head back to our suite for our stay. Sage is asleep cuddled in my arms. Jericho is carrying Cherry who is also asleep.
We get them into bed and snuggle up together. I have been so exhausted. I agree with Jericho. I need a check up. Hopefully tomorrow I will find out what is going on with me.
