Ch 21. Family and Fame

It's been about two weeks since I took Lizzie out on a date, two weeks since we went out clubbing with her and Scarlett. Scar flew back to New York while Lizzie unfortunately has been flat out with meetings and interviews for work.

Sadly we haven't seen each other in person since we went out but we talk basically all day everyday. Whether it be via text or by phone call, we still managed to make sure we had time to talk to each other. And we FaceTimed every other night before bed and nine times out of ten, one of us would fall asleep on the phone.

We spent our time playing silly little games like 21 questions or would you rather when we were both in childish moods but that never stopped us from also talking about our days in full detail, down to every last emotion we may have felt.

I don't quite know what it is, but there is something about Lizzie that made me feel completely at ease. Like I can tell her anything I want and not ever feel like I am being judged. She is just incredible and I can feel myself falling harder for her every day.

I am currently laying on my bed, reading a book when my phone starts to ring I smile when I see my little sisters contact on my screen. I sit up crossing my legs and answer the phone. My smile fades when I look at the death glare I am getting from my baby sister.

"Why the fuck am I finding out from Alex, that you are currently dating Elizabeth Olsen?" She spits at me and immediately I feel guilty. I have been so caught up in my own world with Lizzie that I have completely neglected telling my family about her.

"Ummm, I can explain..." I say gently hoping that she doesn't yell at me again. "Ugh, I am so mad at you for this but im also not because you are DATING THE ELIZABETH OLSEN!" she starts to groan before her tone instantly turns to one of pure excitement.

"I can't believe you didn't fucking tell me you bitch!" She says and I shake my head a little so I am able to respond to her. "Um, excuse me, cut the swearing at me or I'll bash you next time I see you!" I joke and she giggles, finally moving out of her angry mood.

"Im sorry I didn't tell you about Lizzie. We have kinda just been in our own world." I tell her, moving to lay on my stomach whilst propping my phone up against my pillows. "The only people that know we have been out on a date, is Lexi and Scarlett." I say and her jaw drops. "S-Scarlett.. as in?" She questions and I giggle a little at her fangirl moment. "Yes, Scarlett as in Scarlett Johansson, THE Black Widow." I tell her with a smirk and I swear, I see her almost faint.

"You're life is crazy and I'm so jealous! I got a job at the cafe on the beach that we always go too and I'm saving up. Mum said if I save enough she will let me fly to LA to see you after the school year finishes!" She says, the excitement obvious on her face. "How about I make you a deal, I'll pay for half your flight for your Christmas present if you keep up your grades at school!" I propose and I watch as her face lights up.

"OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD!!" She screams, "Nemo, are you serious?" She asks me and I nod. "I promise." I tell her and she grins before grabbing her phone and flying downstairs where I see my mother in the kitchen making what looks like dinner.

"MUM! OH MY GOSH, NEMO SAID IF I KEEP MY GRADES UP AND SAVE MY MONEY SHE WILL PAY FOR HALF MY FLIGHT TO AMERICA!" She yells at my mum clearly being more excited about this than anyone but I am not complaining. "Aw little bug, that's amazing! I'm sure your sister would love to see you as much as you would her." She says before turning to see that Cleo is on FaceTime with me. "Hey bug, how are you? We haven't spoken in a few days... Is everything alright?" She asks me and I let the slightly guilty look spread across my face.

"Yeah, I'm really sorry about that Mumma, everything is good.. it's great actually, I uh... I have met a girl." I say shyly and my mum instantly drops what she is doing and moves to stand next to my sister and I hear the front door open. "Who has met a girl?" I hear my brother ask through the phone. "Ugh, Nemo, you idiot now shut up and come here so she can tell us about her!" Cleo scoffs at our older brother and our mum scolds her lightly.
