Tanjiro Kamado POV
Murata comes tumbling at of the woods with blood on him except I know that scent better than any other.
It is y/n's
"What happened?!" I demand as I run for him. "Where is she?"
He can barely breath. Let alone attempt to talk but the silence has my heart pounding. As I scan the area around I can tell by the smell she isn't nearby.
Where is she? Why would he leave her behind?!!
"She is in danger" he huffs out and an unexpected anger rises in me.
"OBVIOUSLY!" I shout which shocks him. I have always been patient and kind... but my girl is in danger. My breath is coming in short and quick strides.
"I - ... a demon! I couldn't-"
I shove past him as a furious energy takes over me. I can not stand around listening to his idiotic words any longer.
I will find her myself. Follow her scent.
My legs already out stretched as I sprint through the woods. Feet slamming against the ground as I take a deep inhale using total concentration breathing to move at a faster speed.
Just hang on Darling. I am coming.

A demon's sharp claws cutting through the flesh of your ankle and hooking onto your bone. Dragging you across the rough floor. Leaving a trail of scarlet blood. The agonizing pain sending shock waves through your nerves.
