A/N: Bold= Na'vi language
I feel the blood trickling down my body. If I do not find the supplies to help myself soon I will bleed to death and this will have all been for nothing. I know they are following me. But I also know that they will leave the forest before nightfall.
I am scared. I have barely survived the people and their guns, how will I survive the forest? The Na'vi people will never take me in and I do not blame them. My people have turned their backs on me. I have nowhere to go.
Looking back, running away wasn't my finest moment. But how would you react if you were murdered and that put into the body of a god damn alien?
You would feel angry. So fucking angry.
I keep running and running and running until I physically can't any longer. My lungs feel as though they are collapsing and my shoulder and thigh are burning with pain. It has been hours since I left the facility, the sky is finally dark. I take this opportunity to sit down.
I examine my wounds. They do not look good. The ones in my shoulder are profusely bleeding, i feel i may pass out from just looking at it. I move the material of my pants to the side to see the bullet hole in my leg.
Jesus
That is very much not good. The adrenaline from earlier is starting to fade and my body slumps in pure exhaustion. Tears brim my eyes from the pain. I have never felt pain like this, emotionally and physically.
My mother killed me for an experiment.
I've always only been a test subject to her but I really thought that there was apart of her that loved me. I guess I was wrong. The tears I have been holding back break free and my body shakes with sobs. I don't know what to do.
I don't know how to survive out here. Alone.
I decide to push away my thoughts. My eyes are blurring and my head is becoming incredibly drowsy.
Maybe some sleep will do me good.

"Holy shit."
I wake up to someone poking my face. I groan in frustration but my whole body doubles over in pain.
Fuck
The person touching my face jumps back.
"Kiri! It moved!" the annoying voice speaks again. I inwardly roll my eyes at their idiocy.
I open my eyes slowly. My back is pressed up against a tree and my neck is uncomfortable angled on a branch. Then I see him.
A boy with blue skin. I look back at my arms, it all comes back to me. I look like them now. It is weird. I quite literally feel as though I am not in my own skin.
"Um hi. My name is Lo'ak. Are you... uh okay?" I narrow my eyes at him and look down at my injuries. My body and clothes are soaked with blood, everything dyed red. I don't know how I am still alive. The state of my wounds are concerning. Blood is still gushing from the bullets and my skin has become a much lighter shade of blue. I believe that means I am pale, visibly losing life.
"No." I respond with a rough voice. "Obviously I am not okay."
He looks taken aback with my response like he did not expect me to respond at all. Quite frankly I was surprised that I was able to speak.
"What's your name?"
"Amelia." my voice is starting to give out
"People are coming to help you Amelia." I smile slightly at him and nod with appreciation. He seems to understand that I cannot talk any longer and goes off to find whoever 'Kiri' is.
It's light out now. I can see Lo'ak and a girl around my age talking a few feet away. The boy is talking to someone through a device on his neck, it seems he is being yelled at. Its been ten minutes since either of them have looked at me.
I hear footsteps behind me but my body is to weak to move. My entire body is shaking in pain and tears are brimming my eyes, they are going to kill me. Why wouldn't they? My people have taken everything from them.
My eyes are barely open at this point but I can see the many blurry figures in front of me. Their body language is closed off, I hear many voices talking but I cannot decipher what they are saying. Two people come closer to me. They touch my shoulder and my thigh and body doubles over in pain. A strangled groan makes its way out of my throat. The pain is radiating throughout my body.
"We must get her to the village, we can heal her and then figure out why she is here." I hear a male voice say. A woman groans in frustration.
"Look at her fingers Jake she is from the sky people. What if she was sent to kill us all?" I inwardly roll my eyes at her. They do not think I understand them. I decide to keep quiet. I will let them choose what to do with me.
The two people seem to have a staring contest. I look between them narrowing my eyes. I clear my throat hoping to get their attention.
"You guys talk it out but please remember that I'm bleeding out." The man and the woman look at me with confusion laced in their faces. The man looks so familiar.
Before I know it I am blacking out again. Everyone is blurring and breath is speeding up again. I feel people pick me up from behind, the pain spreads like a wildfire. A scream claws its way out of my throat.
Oh my god they are going to kill me.
I start hyperventilating from the pain and from the fear. I have come this far, i can't just die now. The man obviously senses my fear because he touches my face and tells me that i'm going to be okay, he says something else but by that time my vision was already fading out. The last thing I remember was laying down and being dragged through the forest.
