Guam Island

The Investigation Fleet, which had prepared for their Expedition, departed and made their way to Guam, which was eerily quiet.

Before the Expedition, though, they made many emergency plans just in case something goes wrong with the current plan they are about to implement.

As planned, Reno activated one of her gadgets that allowed her to sense any sirens in the vicinity, which was crucial in case of an ambush.

There were no signs...at all, not even could be seen, which Reno finds odd. Sirens would always return after defeat to win again which Azurlane use to full effect in the duration of the war such as setting up Traps, ambushes and luring them to a killing zone where they will not escape at all and they just don't learn at all.

But She decided to remain cautious and informed the rest to be at full alert for any sirens that could appear out of nowhere in Guam.

Making their way to the island, they spotted one of the sirens camps on the beach and decided to go there and find something that would be valuable for their report.

What they find was disturbing, the report that Laffey said after they got out of the island was the remains of the brutally butchered sirens that littered in their camps or where impaled in the trees either their body intact or crushed was very true and in fact more Gruesome that anticipated.

Luckily, they didn't have lunch yet, so they didn't really puked but rather felt uncomfortable as they remained on the island for their investigation.

..........

" Hmmm, mutilated bodies intact siren camps.... crushed bodies of sirens, blood trails that lead to nowhere at all, audio recording of one of the sirens bases blah blah.." Hammann said as she typed on her laptop, which the report would later be printed out after the investigation was done.

" You can add that most of the siren tech had not been self destructed, and the possibility of recovery is at 90%." Reno said.

" Sure thing." Hammann said as she typed again.

" Damn, glad that we haven't eaten lunch or it would be a waste." Washington said.

" Yeah, It truly would have been waste, especially with what we find recently here in this siren camp, and what's more, maybe the other sirens camps faced a similar fate here." St. Louis said.

" Seems like the report that Laffey gave was more accurate than anticipated nevertheless we still have to do our job, so let's make our way to the Bunker where the remnants of the Expedition Fleet hide from the sirens before the sirens were killed." Hammann said.

" Why go there specifically? We should go to the other nearby siren camps first before making our way there." Reno asked.

" First, the camp was in perfect condition. There are no siren bodies on the camp near the Bunker. Second, since it's intact, it probably served as some sort of HQ before the sirens left and ultimately faced the same fate as the other sirens." Hammann said.

" Why would they leave their HQ, though? And to leave it intact without self-destruction...." Reno said, as she was more curious due to the unusual decisions of the sirens.

" Probably due to the culprit of the dead sirens that we now see here, so maybe when the last camp went dark the HQ decided to leave the island as soon as possible but I think they didn't make it." Washington said.

" I can already see that, since there are many traces of corpses or blood just as reported by Laffey which stated that these trails lead to nowhere and they were frequently seen by her and the others in the Expedition Fleet as they made there way to the beach were they finally got out safely." St. Louis said.
