Nico and I had met ontop of Half-Blood Hill and said our goodbyes. Poseidon ...Dad was not too happy about me leaving. The new fondness atrributing to the fact that I had started calling him dad. Which was a seperate issue on its own.

Our first stop was a underground gala that being held. Monsters and demigods who did not side with the gods and others looking to overthrow the Olympians. Hades had provides us with pearls that would cloak our faces making us unrecognizable to others and outfits for the evening.

Nico and I had began the journey in silence. We knew two things; go to this gala thing get info then head to the underworld. Other than that the quest had no real direction. Nico had no spoken much since the prophecy had been announced. I had no idea how he was feeling about it all.  I had one my bracelet and each of us had a backpack full of supplies. I also had the arc reactor in still and that meant I good bring along my suit.

"Nico do you have an idea where we are going, or where we are going to get ready" I broke the silence.

"Dad has arranged an hotel for us, we will go there" I nodded in his response.

On our way there, in my car if I might add, I had an urge to go visit my dad. I hadn't seen him in a while.

"You shouldn't" Nico said his eyes not breaking from the road.

"Huh"

"See your dad, it puts them in danger" This idiot had finally spoken and it had been to tell me something I didn't want to hear.

" I know, but it just feels weird being so close and not seeing him" Nico did not respond to my statement. Well there is is brick wall façade again.

Frustrated and annoyed I wanted to explode. In my head I had taken Thor's hammer and played whack-a-mole with Nico.  The internal battle of wanting to say something to him was interpreted by us arriving at the hotel. This would just have to wait till we were checked in.

The hotel was a nice 3-star hotel. Hades had done good. I parked the car which clearly looked out of place here but whatever. By the time I had parked and gone inside Nico had already checked us in and was ushering me into the elevator.

The room to my luck just had one king size bed. The room was massive, had a dressing table and massive washroom. Nico wasn't to happy about there only being one bed and was muttering curses at aphrodite.

Annoyed I rolled my eyes at him "Dude, Chill its one night and most likely we won't even have time to sleep" Nico immediately shut up turning into Mr. Brick wall again.

Annoyed I decided too speak

"Okay man cut the shit, we are on this quest you can't go the entire time not talking to me" I spat out. Annoyance etched into every word.

"Watch me" his voice cold. I stepped right in front of him looking him in the eyes.

"The prophecy sucks, but I didnt create it, I didnt choose this" I spat right back at him

"You think I did" his tone changed, anger was evident but I was not backing down.

"No, but I would like you to stop acting like its my fault" Silence no reply

I sighed and spoke again "Look Nico, I thought we had cleared the air, I thought we were becoming friends"

Nico relaxed at these words and sat on the edge of the bed. He rubbed his face and ran his hands through his hair before looking at me with his current chocolate brown eyes.

" We are friends, I am sorry, this prophecy has had my brain fully occupied"

I nodded not wanting to further argue with this man. We never got anywhere with these conversations anyways.
