"Sigyn?! Sigyn, where are you?!"

Loki pushed through the crowd, which triumphed in its revelry. The game had come down to the wire. With only two seconds on the game clock, the Mythbusters, Asgard High's football team, completed a Hail Mary in the endzone, scoring a touchdown and winning the game. This game would lead them to the championship, continuing their winning streak.

But Loki didn't care for that. He didn't care that the pride of the school would further raise and that he could walk with his head held high and look at the other rival school districts with a snooty sneer. All that was on his mind was spending time with his girlfriend, the one he wanted so desperate to ask to prom.

"Sigyn!" Loki yelled with extra effort, exerting his voice above the crowd as much as he could.

He had planned the night all out. First, they would spend time at the library while the Warriors Three prepared the park. Then, he would take her there and, on the trees, string lights would be spelled out "Prom?" If she said yes, which she would most definitely say yes, they would go to her favorite restaurant with the Warriors and Sif to celebrate. This night, as well as prom night, was going to be memorable, something he imagined retelling in years to come.

What he didn't plan on was his girlfriend insisting that they both attend the game. What he didn't plan on was Sigyn, who hated sports with a passion, keep intently focused on the game and shouting along with the fans. What he didn't plan on was the game going into overtime. What he didn't plan on was her jumping up and running away in excitement as Asgard High celebrated its win.

And as Loki made a final effort through the crowd, he didn't plan on finding Sigyn with her lips locked on the quarterback.

Correction: His girlfriend's lips were locked on his older brother's.
