Veil's Diary (OC X Task Force 141)

Chapter 6

Few hours later, I started to see familiar places. That's the base where Fang's friend is. That means the wolf's base will be more than 20 miles away. Before the helicopter could get on the ground, I jumped off and jogged away from the helicopter to meet Fang's friend, Owl. They called him that codename because he was always a night owl. He is best friends with Fang because they enter the military at the same time and go through many missions. But Owl picks his rank fast. He is Captain while Fang is Second Lieutenant.

"Veil! Good see to you." Owl yelled over the loud helicopter. I nodded softly and still held my veil. I looked close to him. He is taller like Fang, but he is one feet shorter than Fang's. He is 5' 7" while Owl's 5' 6". He has a darker blond that is nearly brown, long undercut hairstyle, but messy due to strong wind from the helicopter. He has a goatee, strong jawline, and heterochromia, in which his left iris is Brown and the other is blue. His skin is tan due to a lot of sunlight. He has a scar on his left cheek which he was cut by enemies from fighting in his mission before. It is older. And another scar on his neck, it almost killed him, but lucky to miss a weak point.

We make fist bump before looking at another man. "This is my second in command, Mike." Owl told me. Mike nodded and his hand toward me. I hesitated before shaking his hand sharp. I looked up to him. He has white skin, brown wavy hair and a stubble short beard. He is three feets taller than me. I have never seen him before... But his vibe is not very great to me. Seems Mike and I don't go along, Like Ghost. Rest of 141 joined us. "You must be Captain Price. Fang told me about you a lot." Owl nodded as grinned, "We will talk more about it at Meeting room."

They went to the meeting room. Owl starts to speak, "As you are here. We keep a tail and update on Wolf for a while for Fang. Veil, Can you explain the location?"

I nodded and pointed at Wolf's location on the maps, "This is where Wolf's. I remember where is torture room." I tapped at that room before tapping another room. "This... I believe they said it was the main room, where they kept the data and others. They have heavy security. But there is blind spot that no one watches."

"Likely, Captain Price said, Soap and Gaz will be sniper and watch our backs." I said and got a stand, "Ghost and I will sneak through to get the data." I looked at them as I speaked.

Mike starts speaking, "Due respect, Veil. I disagree with that plan." Price and Owl look at him. Owl asked, "Why that?"

"If you sneak them, you did there before. There is a high chance they know you, and risk finding our plan." Mike said, then I glared at him and said, "And you didn't know where their blind spot and point was. I knew where it was."

"I knew that but I can take care of it."

"No, it is not. I don't want to risk losing any one of my team." I hissed as I gave him death glare.

Owl raised his hand between Mike and me. "Stop. Stop arguing. Focus on that plan. Price said so then we obeyed him because this mission is for them." He looked at Mike.

Mike and I said, "Yes, sir." But we still glare at each other.

"Alright, let me review what we plan." Owl explained and made plans with them. I listened very carefully as I looked at each of the people in this meeting room. He said that missions will start by tonight, there will be less people at night time.

We rode on the helicopter, Ghost, Soap and Gaz sat while I sat on the floor of the helicopter. We were dead silent the whole time until the pilot stopped at the location for Gaz and Soap. they get out before moving to another location that close where they don't see us. Ghost and I went to sneak without being caught by enemies. We stopped to hide ourselves, "This is Veil, we are in. Gaz and Soap, are you on watch?"
