"My parents must be out of their minds! I can't believe them! I mean, me married to that jackass? That foolish, brainless, smug bastard! His wife! No fucking way!" I rant to Miyuki. I pace around in my pajamas while Miyuki sat on my bed. She just listens to me rant and rave about this whole situation.
"Rosa, I know you're pissed right now but, I don't know, you never know." I look at her, bewildered.
"Are you kidding me? Are you telling me to go through with this?!" She sighs.
"I'm telling you that you've always been the submissive one. This is the first time where I've seriously seen you take a stand on something. Also, that could just be an act. On the inside, he could be really cool and sweet. Never judge a book by its cover. You know that better than anyone," she says. I sigh.
"But I don't want to get married. This is not going to be fun." Miyuki grabs my hands and stares up at me.
"This isn't an idle situation but I know you. I know you can make this work." I sighed and shook my head.
"I don't know. For the time being, let's get lost in the world of Wednesday Addams and Nevermore Academy." She cheers and rushes into the living room. That's how we spend the rest of our night after the huge bombshell my parents dropped on me.
-Next Morning-
I hear the door knock but I don't answer because Miyuki answers and I'm still in my bed asleep. Somewhat. It wasn't until Miyuki came into my room with three people I did not want to see. Not after what happened last night. I open my eyes and groan into my pillow.
"Why, Miyuki-chan?!" I yell into the pillow.
"Sorry, dude. They insisted and you need to talk to them." I groan again and lift my head. There standing in my room were Mom, Dad, and Jason.
"Fine. Get out so I can shower and get changed."
"I don't mind staying," Jason chirps in. I glare at him before throwing a pillow at his face which he blocked. Bastard.
"Do you really want to test my patience right now? Get the fuck out!" I yell.
Miyuki grabs Jason by his ear and pulls him out of my bedroom.
"She told you to get out! Don't make me regret bringing you in here, you dumbass!" Ah, that's my ride-or-die right there.
I get up out of bed and walk into my bathroom. I turn on the shower and once it's at the right temperature, I step in. I let the water flow over my body, relaxing my tense muscles and the forming headache. I haven't even known Jason for a day and he's already giving me headaches. After 20 minutes, I step out, drying my body. I walk into my closet and choose a front-tie white shirt, leather pants, and black combat boots. I clip on my Love necklace and dream bracelet that Miyuki gave me. I wear a black cardigan and walk out of my room. Miyuki was nowhere to be seen, probably getting ready. I see Mom, Dad, and Jason sitting in the living room. I walk into the kitchen to get some orange juice. I pour some into a glass before walking out to face my parents and that man.
"So, why are you here?" I ask, frustrated that they couldn't even give me 24 hours to be mad before coming to my place and trying to convince me.
"Honey, I know you're very very upset right now but listen to us," Mom begged. I sit in my chair and sip on my orange juice. "There's a reason we did this. But, you're not going to like it."
"Mom, just tell me. Stop giving me the run around and tell me what the hell is going on." I demand. She seemed reluctant to tell me so I look at Dad but he looked the same way.
"They're in debt." I look at Jason but his eyes were closed, with his hands in his pockets. I scoff at his accusation.
"What are you talking about? My parents have always been careful with money," I argue. He mimics my scoff.
