Author noteso if you didn't read the story description, go read it! now! the story won't make seance otherwise bc I did a little get-to-know-yourself thing or whatever in it so ya, go read it!--------------------------You and Lady Yuki were finally going to be debuting! You and her were so excited! " Where finally going to be one step closer to becoming adults! Our next step will be to become star bearers!" Yuki said with excitement. " I just know we're going to do great!" " Yes lady Yuki, I have faith that we will do great," "Agreed!" We walked into the dining room where the first part would be taking place. "Uh- um... hello there, we're going to be starting the first part of the debut so just act normal and ha-have fun!" A living doll said with a face and nervous smile on her face. You looked around and saw 3 other shadows worth their dolls, one was a girl wearing a long purple dress with a corset on and a frill on her head. Her doll has long black hair with golden-looking eyes. Judging by the expiration on her face she looked upset, no, she was disgusted? Yes, she was, but why? Another shadow in the room was very short and looked like a guy though it was hard to tell. They had yellow pants and a white button-up on. Their living doll had shoulders length brown hair with green eyes. One of the other shadows were a boy, he wore an almost brown button-up with a green ribbon around his collar, light brown shorts and tall white boots with a heel ( yes he does wear heels, it's canon) and glasses, his glasses had a chain with a gear decoration and was a silver color. His face had short wavy black hair with dark brown eyes and the same glasses his shadow wears but instead of it being silver it was black. At least he looked excited. "Lady Yuki, should we say hi?" I whispered to her." yes! We should," but right before we could the lady from before came back out and made an announcement." uh- um... for the first part of the debut will begin. Every half an hour the bell here will be struck 3 times which will start the 5 min of absolute silence! and if someone were to break the silence, well we'll just see what would happen." She said while eyeing the guillotine in the middle of the room. The room looked like an average lounge with a buffet in the front middle of the room. " what?! That's Ludacris! I'm not taking orders from a living doll! Especially one without a shadow!" The shadow in the purple said. We looked at her face and only after she had said that her face reacted..."One more thing, if someone's face does not always match their feelings the same thing will happen." She said with an angry face looking dead at the shadow in purple. The room looked like an average lounge with a buffet in the front middle of the room. Not even after we finished looking at the room the shadow was in the guillotine and... CHOP!" Aaaaaaaah!!!!" Yuki screamed. It was over like that. One down for the count and three left. Everyone was horrified including her face. Yuki raised her hand and asked, "What will you do with her face?" Her voice was still a little shaky. " Her face will be disposed of, but in the meantime, you will go in the side room until then," she said looking at the doll for that last bit."Oh, ok," she said with tears standing down her face and mine.We still had to persist."Let's at least try to make friends... while we're here." You whispered to her with your mouth closed. Just a skill you had known, I guess Lord Grandfather had thought it would come in handy, and it did."That's just what Yuki was going to say!" They whisper yelled. (Im now going to have them use all pronounce ). we walked over to the guy? With long hair."Hello, I am Yuki." we greeted them with a warm smile. :)"Oh! I-I'm William.""Delighted to meet you, William!""Um, say, Yuki, aren't you still a little shaken up by. Do you know what we just saw? I mean we just saw a Shadow beheaded, by a doll without a master nonetheless!""Oh, I so pose I am still a bit shaken up by the whole ordeal. But to be completely frank, I believe that that was just a test and we have to pull through, No matter what! Haha! You know""You're sicodic! How could you laugh about something like that at a time like this!?""Only the best shadows will make it out of here and become adults. I will not let something such as a mean shadow with who I had no connection impact me in such a manner, and neither should you :)". Most would say that Yuki is a sociopath but I beg to differ, she just has a different way of thinking or looking at things than others. Besides as her face, I should not think of such rude things about her especially since I am below my amazing master!"Well, it seems as though Yuki had chosen wrong with who to try and befriend." "Ding! Ding! Ding!" It was time for the 5 min of absolute silence to Comanche. By the time the bell had been rung 3 times Master Yuki and I was laying on the floor. It had seemed the most logical way of doing things given our situation. I was laying in a way where I could see the guy in the glasses and Master Yuki was facing Master William. As the 5 min passed I observed how Sir Glass was doing things. He was sitting at a small table having a tea party with his face except they were frozen. They're tea cups on the table, just sitting there. How interesting? I can't wait to tell Master Yuki about this. The five min felt like years, not a sound could be heard in that room. It was almost frightening." t-times up!" She said with her timidness coming back. We slowly got up."Master Yuki, the shadow over there and his doll were frozen."" interesting, we could pay them a visit then.""Hello,""Greetings," the boy says with an interested expression on his face."It appears you have a simple mindset as me with this whole ordeal," Yuki calmly says while looking so cool while doing it. I hope that I am doing a good job of showing how cool they would look." it appears as though we do, but if you don't mind me asking do you actually feel about this situation regarding the prior events?" He asks. " how presumptuous of you to ask before even telling me your name, mine is Yuki for the record."" right my apologies, my name is Oliver, now will you answer my question?""Nice to meet you, Oliver. The answer you are looking for is that I honestly have zero regards for the one who has passed and am almost relieved that they died. You know what they say, better them than me. To be honest I would have to agree in this situation."" I see, I understand your reasoning and perspective. In fact, I agree with most of it, but the thing I don't agree with or understand is why you didn't care for the shadow who was killed because, in the end, whether everyone passes or not would make no difference, this is not a last man standing type thing so why?""Well, the way that she was treating the doll hosting was quite rude though it may just be a doll, in my opinion, this should not be tolerated in a shadow and is quite frankly distressful to the shadows name." "Interesting, I do agree with that but what about the doll? Isn't it strange to see a living doll without its shadow. Is it not?" " You are quite right. And for her to have the audacity to have us play along with all these stupid rules as well." "Yes indeed-" "Ring! Ring! Ring!" The five minutes start now, "shit," Yuki said under their breath. We laid there for a good 4 minutes before.... " you are just a stupid doll what author do you have over me?!" Yelled the William. " I'm fed up with this stupid game! You're sick! All of you! How can you just watch a shadow get killed and say nothing?! Well, I'm not! I'm not going to just say here and stay quiet! We've been here for hours!" The doll just gave him a lifeless glare that could have sent shivers down lord grandfathers spine. "Shut. Up." She said in a stern voice. "Go on and die already!" She walked over to him and grabbed him by the ear and dragged him over to the guillotine and placed him in tough his many protests. "Please I'm sorry! P-please I'm begging you!!!" He said through tears. "No." Said the doll before killing him. "You know where to go," she said to his doll, and his doll left. She was going to say something but got a message from a soot crow. She was not happy about it at all though. "It's your lucky day I guess, the shadows on the third floor think you're qualified enough so you pass." A collective sigh of relief was just had as everyone including the dolls thought that they were all done for at this point. You all walked out of the room into the great hall where everyone was waiting with applause.————————————————AnHiiii this is like my first story that ill actually continue, well for the moment at least.
