"She's coming to visit?" I asked shocked.
"She'll be here tomorrow." Mum said quietly. "And she knows everything. She knows about you, and about your father, and about magic." She smiled weakly. "And she forgives you for giving her up?" I inquired as I leant against the counter.
"She said in a letter she sent, that she understands why we had to give her up-- for a better life." Mum answered slowly.
Both her and Aunt Megara walked over to me and pulled me into a hug. "Babe, I'm sorry I've kept this from you for so long." Mum said sadly.
"Mum, it's fine. Can you just promise me that you aren't keeping anymore crucial secrets from me?" I asked.
"I promise that I am not keeping any crucial secrets from my daughter." Mum held up her hand and laughed.
I sighed relieved.
"What time will Cassiah be here?" I sat down on the chair next to Mum. "She is arriving at nine o' clock. So we will be waking up at eight." Mum smiled and squeezed my hand.
Wow. Was I ready for this major step in my life? To meet my long lost sister? I guess I'll find out at nine o'clock tomorrow.
Oh and btw (speaking as the author and not Gemma) the girl who is going to be one the cover of the next chapter is Cassiah. And Cassiah is pronounced as KAS--EYE--UH. hope you like it, that's my best friend's name, and I'm completely in love with it!
