I stared at my clear crystal ball, watching for any kind of indication that it was about to give another prophecy, preferably one that was not as terrible at the previous. As I turned around, I felt a dark black aura, murmuring words in a different language that I could not decipher.
A black leather diary appeared on my desk, gold lettering on the cover. "The War," I read aloud. The book flipped open, and words began to appear.
"The War is a century old war for the Spriti Lord, which involves the deaths of many. The War was made with the intention of sacrifices for the gods, and later became a death game for entertainment. Those who are entered are called Potentials, and the one who wins become the Spriti Lord. Each of these lords have always had a purpose. This time, it is to fulfill the prophecy that will save the world from utter destruction. The Spriti Lord is the only one who can do that. The Spriti Lord is a form of Spirit, which is the ruler of the whole Magic Section, and is very much like a king." It said quietly.
"A prophecy? What?" I asked.
The War will save from unnecessary death
One will tell the truth
with their very last breath
One will be betrayed
By their best friend's hand
One will die to save
Somebody grand
A girl so brave
Will know everything but cannot understand
Sacrifices are required
Or the world will fall into mire
"Thus is the story of these deaths, soon to be repeated over and over again. Do not stray from the path, or the pain will cause your death."
