We soon departed Omega in Gax's ship.
"So, what're you all planning on doing with the credits?" I asked in an attempt to break the silence in the ship.
I was sitting in one of the passenger seats in the cockpit, Santis was opposite me, and Naf'sur and Gax were in the pilot and copilot seats.
"What am I gonna do huh? Lemme see." said Santis trying not to make his excitement too obvious "I'm gonna go for a night on the town first! Y'know, get off my ass-drunk and go to the silver coast casino down in the silversun strip. What about you, Rhys?" said Santis, now sounding more excited than ever.
I thought to myself for a bit, what would I do? I now have countless opportunities in the galaxy, do I really want to stick to getting revenge on the Krogan criminals? Or do I want to help others, others who've gone through the same situation as I?
"I wanna get a place on the Citadel, a massive apartment. Also, a ship not stolen from Alliance military." The crew had a bit of a chuckle over that, considering every ship any of us has ever owned, was stolen from the alliance.
–timeskip– council chambers
I approach the pedestal to talk to the three councilors, and drop Dimarth's severed head on the table to my right.
The council stood in silence, they stood with an awkward expression on their faces- until the asari councilor spoke.
"I'm honestly shocked. You managed to kill Dimarth Fuss? I- I'm sorry, but we actually had no intention of paying one hundred Million credits, honestly, we just needed him dead..."
Me, Santis, Gax, and Naf'sur stood in silence, (we really shoulda just kept the original job... no money, no reward of any sort- oh yeah, and also we made one hell of an enemy out of the Blue Suns.) Gax lost it, screaming various cusses loudly, he picked up Dimarth's head and hucked it at the three councilors.
"Security!" yelled the Salarian councilor, we didn't wanna stick around much longer, so we bolted out of the council chambers, down the nearby stairs, past the Embassies, and as we passed C-Sec, we had a slight problem.
"We got guards! Run like hell!" I yell on top of my voice. We ran for what felt like hours, until we got to the docking bay. "I *huff* think we lost em" said Naf'sur completely out of breath.
We looked around the massive room. Filled with various ships as far as the eye can see. I pointed toward a Razor Class Alliance Destroyer "we're taking that" I say feeling more determined than ever.
We all decided to try to go unseen. We approached this massive ship to see that there was a sign outside of it 'Undergoing Maintenance, back in 10' (convenient)
We approached the ship's loading door's, wide open and we walked inside. "Naf'Sur, you're one helluva tech expert, can you hack the cameras, automated security, and get us outta this system?" I say feeling slightly overwhelmed by the size of the ship.
"I can, it's child's play for someone of my skill level. Also, it seems the entire maintenance crew was slacking- nobody's even here." Said Naf'Sur with confidence overflowing in his voice. "Me and Santis will make a sweep of the ship, see what kinda cargo this thing has, Gax, you head on up to the cockpit- make yourself comfortable with the controls. Naf'Sur, once you're done, give Gax the all-clear to takeoff." I said, trying not to sound bossy.
Me and Santis walk off together, starting with the cargo bay. As we look around, there's dozens of crates covered in tarps which are labelled a variety of things, of which I start to read out. "Weapons, Armor, materials, Mako Fuel" Santis immediately seems very excited at the mention of Mako fuel and points over to the other side of the cargo bay. "RHYS, RHYS! IT'S A MAKO!" Santis exclaimed loudly, Me and him rushed to the Mako, a beautiful peice of machinery, a 6 Wheeled, heavily armoured attack vehicle with a large rotary cannon turret atop its roof.
Naf'Sur reached us over comms. "I've given Gax the go ahead for takeoff. Come up do deck 2. There's a whole lounge up here!"
*Timeskip— Ship's Lounge*

"The ID of this alliance vessel has been removed. All traces of any former allegiance to the Alliance is gone. If anyone scans this ship, it'll appear as privately owned" Said Naf'Sur feeling pleased that the hard work is done for now.
(At this point in time, the crew has toured the ship, designating rooms for themselves and personalising them to their tastes. The ship is in autopilot, at a slow cruising pace.)

"I'm gonna have to say it, we will need to hire a maintenance crew, a cook for the mess hall, a medic for the med-bay. There's a lot to do. Yet, we don't have enough credits for even one of those, we need work. And fast" I said in a fairly straightforward manner. I never liked being the bearer of bad news, but it had to be said. "Anyone know any potential clients? Someone who would need a few mercs?" Said Santis- matching the same kinda tone I showed.
After a brief moment of silence, Gax spoke up- "I hate to say it... but what about Aria? There's tons of work on Omega, a lot of people who want other people dead." "Yeah, I think that's our best bet." I said, Santis and Naf'Sur hesitantly agreed. "Alright. Let's have a few Solar days of R&R then let's head out to Omega." I said confidently.

A/N: Apologies if this chapter didn't go in-depth enough... didn't really know how to decide on a solid way of obtaining a ship for the crew... nonetheless I hope you guys are enjoying it so far. Next chapter is when the crew start getting along better.
