Daruizen's POV: Today was very unusual to say least. As I was walking through the park I saw a bunch of girls had heart heart shaped boxes clutched in their hand s and they all looked really nervous.
It was February the 14th and as a far I could tell it was not anything special. I went back to Nodoka's house to look at the calendrer.
I saw that it read Valentines Day. My heart thudded in my chest. If I remember correctly this is the day that girls confess their love to the boys they like.
I wounder If I would get a box of chocolate's from Nodoka. who am I kidding that is just wishful thinking. As if she could ever love someone like me.
"Now that I think about it. The only people who don't like me are her friends."
"Good morning Daruizen." Nodoka greeted cheerfully. "Morning." I greeted back.
"My mother gave you a fresh batch of strawberries to thank you for all your help." Nodoka said. I smiled at the thought.
"That is very kind of her I can't thank your family enough for taking me in." Daruizen said. "It's no big deal." Nodoka said.
She was always so modest and that is what I liked about her. She was the light to my darkness, the yin to my yang.
"One time a friend told me that light cannot shine one darkness alone, it must take the dark and the light to unite to rid the world of evil.
"That is true." I said as I hugged Nodoka. She was so small and pretty. I breathed in her scent and buried myself into the crook of her neck.

Nodoka was internally screaming. I loved that about her how she was so accepting of others flaws.
I smiled and kissed her square on the lips. She blushed even harder. I was sure that her face was as red a firetruck by now.
Nodoka blushed and reached into the pocket of her dress to take out a small heart shaped box.
I was shocked because the box was addressed to me. "Happy Valentines Day Daruizen." She said.
I felt a blush carve itself clean across my face. I could not even make it go down. "Thankyou Nodoka that means a lot to me." I said.
I knew that Nodoka knew that I had been through a lot. I was putting on a act all this time. I loved her with all my heart and soul.
I saw all the cure animals come out of hiding looking at us like we both have grown a second head or something.
"So it's true." Naytoran said. "Told you so Rabirin countered."
"What is this all about?" Daruizen asked them. "I made a bet with Naytoran that you two would get together on Valentines Day. I won the bet." Rabirin cheered.
Nodoka laughed. I loved her laugh it sounded like windchimes. I opened Nodokas box of chocolates and decided to try one.
They were tasty. I never knew that Nodoka could cook. I will ask her to make something for me.
I would have to say that my first Valentines day was a very happy one.
