The next day
Lucas got up from his bed heading downstairs, towards the kitchen. When she got downstairs to the kitchen, she found her mother cooking waffles, her father sitting in his chair drinking coffee while reading the period, and her sister Erica already starting to eat her waffles.
"Oh hi honey" says Lucas's mother.
"Hello mom, hello dad, and... hello Erica" says Lucas.
"Hello son" says Lucas's father.
"Hey neerd" Erica says.
Lucas rolls his eyes and goes to a chair.
"By the way, darling, this afternoon we were all planning to go to the fair" says Lucas's mother as she serves Lucas a plate with two waffles.
"He probably can't because he's busy with his girlfriend," Erica says as she makes more syrup.
Lucas's father chokes on his coffee.
"Your girlfriend?" Lucas's father asks leaving the cafe and looking up from his period with raised eyebrows."Umm... yes... my girlfriend, I hadn't met her for this afternoon" says Lucas.
"Honey, that's amazing, who's the lucky girl?" he asks with a smile on his face.
"You mean the poor girl," Erica corrects.
"Erica!" her parents say at the same time.
"Just the facts," Erica says in her defense.
"It's Max, the redheaded girl who came the other day," says Lucas.
"Oh yeah, Max, I didn't get to know her very well, but she looks sweet, why don't you invite her over for dinner tonight?" Lucas's mom says as she sits down with a plate of two waffles in front of her, starting to eat.
"Yes son, your mother is right, call her and ask her if she would like to come to dinner" says Lucas's father.
"Of course," Lucas says happily that his parents like the idea of him having a girlfriend.

It was half past eleven in the morning, Marx was sleeping peacefully until she is interrupted by the sound of her walkie-talkie. Max puts a pillow over her head trying to hide the irritating sound, but unfortunately for Max herself. you can still hear the sound. When Max realizes that the sound is constant, he decides to remove the pillow from his head and go to his desk to get the walkie-talkie."Hello?" Max says hoarsely.
"Hi," Lucas says, laughing lightly at how Max's voice sounds right now.
"Oh, hi Lucas!" Max says, clearing his head.
"Hello, Madmax" says Lucas. "I wanted to ask you something" says Lucas.
"I'm all ears" says Max making Lucas chuckle slightly.
"Well, a little bird, named my sister, told my mom and dad about my girlfriend, MadMax, and they, even though they've already seen you, want to get to know you better tonight for dinner" says Lucas. "So here's the question, would you like to come to my house for dinner with me and my parents... well, and also with my sister?" Lucas asks nervously at being rejected.
"Lucas, I'd love it," says Max.
"So that's a yes?" Lucas asks.
"Yeah, stalker, that's a yes," Max says with a smile as he rolls his eyes.
"Well, so at my house at nine is that okay with you?" Lucas asks.
"I think it's perfect," says Max.
"Well, that was it" says Lucas. "Bye MadMax" says Lucas.
