Out of the Blue

Time is fast

  It was September 22nd. I was enjoying my cup of coffee with my 3 cats on the couch even if my mom told me not to,minty,Alexia and chocolate (my cats) love to read books with me.

It was autumn and the leaves were falling,I was taking photos to put on my Pinterest captioned "autumn is sure very leafy" thinking I was funny.
I had  10 followers including my friends and my mom.My phone started ringing,I put my cats down on the floor,Caria was calling me on the phone.I answered.
-"JULIANA GUESS WHAT ?!"she yelled over the phone
-"no I don't want to ." I answered
-"come on!...we'll I'll tell you "
-"Lucas asked me to prom " she said.
It felt like my world was collapsing,what Caria didn't know was that Lucas has been my crush for 3 years.Of course I disagreed when somebody asked me if I had a crush,
Why should I tell anyone?I tried to be happy for her but I just couldn't.
-"t-thats a-mazing.."I said with a sad voice.
-"I know !! But is everything okay you seem sad ?"
-"m-me no am not am just..sad at minty for ruining my new shirt"
I felt bad about lying to her but if I told her that I had a crush on the same boy that asked her to prom it would break her heart and not want her to go there.  

She kept going on about How gentle he was and did a huge Prom proposal at school.
I was sick at the time,I caught a flu it was my fault for running in the rain without my jacket.

I felt pretty sad over that phone call.
But then my mom called me to dinner.
-"I made your favourite "my mom said.
-"thanks..."
-"is everything okay you sound cringe ."
My mom tries to be a "cool mom" and searches up gen z phases to say but it's more cringer then me in 3rd grade.
-"mom please stop "
-"okay but what's wrong ?."
-"nothing.."
"-honey I have known you my whole life  and I know when Your  lying to my face now tell me."
-"fine..don't tell Caria "
-"is it about Caria's  mom ?" My mom was a-bit of a noisy person she knows anything about everyone.   
       I explained to my mom about

With her serious "why don't you tell her  " face
-"mom I know that face but I won't tell her "
-"it's better to tell her,it will fix your trust or ruin it."
my mom said in a gentle voice.
After we had a long talk with my mom
(I still disagreed to tell Caria ) I went
Up to my room,Lexus called me and
Asked me to hang out with her on Starbucks.
    
I got ready and wore my white cardigan,
A cute white miniskirt, see thru stockings,
my hand warmers and leg warmers.
I brushed my messy brunette hair which was a mess.

Lexus called me that she is at the door
I ran to open the door (so old fashioned way )
She came in,and I made her wait until am
Done with my make up.
  
I told my mom that am leaving and took
My toe bag that I made last year.
We got Starbucks and of course
I ordered Vanilla sweet cream cold brew "
-"gosh I am glad I invited you ."Lexus said
-"really?.." 
     she explained how everyone
One of her friends would usually make
Lexus pay. But I paid myself
-"we'll I guess am different "
We laughed and had fun the whole day
I was so happy when Lexus
Showed me memes of  Taylor swift.
-"omg we should totally go to the
      Taylor concert next week ?"

As if my mom would let me go to a
Concert alone at 12pm.When I got home I
Made sure to ask my mom about the concert
But I knew that she will say no.
-"sure"
-"Wait WHAT?!"
MY MOM SAID YES  TO A CONCERT ?!
-"yea I mean your 16?enjoy life a-bit but
Be back at 1AM at-least  "she said in a normal voice I've never heard.I wasn't sure
If she was serious so I asked her twice
-"do you want me to say no ?"she replied
-"NO!No.. am confused "
-"of why I said yes ?  I mean cmon it's not like you will die,besides you can have a tracker I. Yourself if you need help you call me l
-"MOMMM!" She was joking about the tracker
I think.I quickly texted Lexus and told her
Am able to come,she hasn't asked her mom m
Yet but I am glad I can go there.
To the biggest success comes a small problem
"Money "
i forgot all about the money
I asked my mom hru she just said that
"Moms aren't made of money !" And
Kept telling me how am lucky to go to Taylor's
Concert. I either get a job or beg
For my mom again -"just ask your mom again " said Lexus
-"no way ! The tickets are like 600"
-" really but isn't it on sale for people under 18?"
-"WAI-WHAT" I quickly went to check and
She was right ! It was only 300 for 24hours
But I didn't have 300.My current Balance was 150. I could ask my mom but she already
Let me go to the concert.
-"pleaseee mom "
-"150?! For what "
-"the concert..." said with a sweet voice
I mean she didn't expect me to go
With our monkey right?. Spoilers she said no.
I had no idea how to get 150 in less than 24hours,
my friends are broke,my dad is a no show and of course my cats know nothing.
I could only think of 3 things
Get a job,beg mom or do something to earn
150 in 20hours. I was losing my mind !!
Then the door rang.I went to open I couldnt believe it.
