𝖁𝖊𝖓𝖔𝖒 || 𝕯𝖗𝖆𝖈𝖔 𝕸𝖆𝖑𝖋𝖔𝖞 !𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐔𝐄𝐃!

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧

The weeks flew by alarmingly fast as a notice on the notice board read that the first Hogsmeade trip would be at the end of October. And that also means that my birthday is coming up.

Well- my old birthday.

When we got teleported here my birthday was... different... and so did Ophelia's, Aurora's, and Autumn's. All our birthdays are different in this world.

Nobody knows except us, of course, so we get each other small gifts.

It is currently October 13th and tomorrow is my birthday.

The night sky shone with speckles of stars as I let out a soft sigh.

"Should we go back yet? We might get caught." Draco said, rolling on to his side to look at me.

Tonight we may or may not have snuck off to the astronomy tower to stargaze...

"You scared?" I smirked.

He rolled his eyes and lay back down.

"No. I'm a bit cold though." the blonde mumbled.

"Ok, I give in." I smiled, standing up.

"You coming?" I asked as I watched the lying figure on the floor raise an eyebrow.

"No. I know what you're thinking and no you lazy bum." I huffed.

"I could always, I don't know, shout? We could perhaps get detention for being up here so late... so be a dear won't you" he said, sarcasm dripping from his words.

I groaned and grabbed his arms to pull him to his feet.

"Oh, why thank you." he chuckled.

We descended back into the dungeons, slowly, while almost getting caught several times due to fits of giggles and clumsiness. We finally made it back to the common room and nearly woke up all our housemates. A few 'shut up's were exchanged and we shushed each other as we made our way to our dorms.

Thankful that I didn't wake up any of my dorm mates, I tiptoed towards my bed. I quickly changed before collapsing onto the soft mattress. I sighed before petting Cinn and crawling under the covers. Whispering a small goodnight and drifting off to a dream filled sleep.

The next day I woke to find I was the first one up. Normally I wouldn't even think of waking up early, but I guess it was a pretty special day anyways. I mean I kind of did celebrate every year on this day until we got... well, you know. I pushed the blanket off of my body while swinging my feet off the bed. I yawned and stood up only to fall back down. Maybe lying on the floor for hours wasn't the best idea after all. I lay there for a few more moments before forcing myself to sit up. I finally went to go change and get ready for the day.

I changed and brushed my teeth quickly and I was starting to find myself hungry. I scurried down to the common room only to find Blaise.

"Lupin? What are you doing up at this hour? I thought I'd never see the day!" He gaped.

"Haha, very funny." I said, "Honestly I don't know why I'm awake so early... especially when I don't need to be."

"I guess fate wanted you up so you could hang out with me!" he pranced around before stopping beside me and dramatically pretending to faint. I caught him but his weight was too much and I toppled over onto the floor.

"Yeah, I guess we're soulmates." I rolled my eyes.

He elbowed me in the stomach trying to get up from the floor. But at least he was a -as he called it- gentleman, and helped me up from my spot on the cold tiles.
