Estella Larson couldn't fathom how much she actually didn't know much about anything.

Estella was a girl more interested in  her shopping addiction or movie addiction but never hockey. She never got the point of it. In her eyes it was unnecessary and boring. Her parents had tried at an early age to put her in sports but she could never find them fun or exciting. She was in dance which she loved but she quit after a knee injury and she hasn't found anything yet. Even when she did dance it was just never for her.

She longed to have something that was hers. She couldn't even count the things she disliked or found boring like drawing or plants. She read but very few books and she really only reread Carrie . She loved shopping but that was more of a hobby and she didn't have a ride half the time to go.

She was confused and alone with her thoughts and sometimes even then she wished they would go away. She only knew the basics about everyone and she barley knew a thing about herself let alone other people. She was a complicated girl with complicated needs and wants.

"OH ESTELLA YOU WILL NEVER BELIEVE WHAT JUST HAPPENED TO ME..." yelled Margot while Estella held the phone 20 feet away from her face. Margot was a talker and once she started she never stopped but the urgency in her voice was evident and Estellas phone would not stop ringing while she was finishing her math homework.

"You're right I probably won't believe you but I'm listening" she answered her friend in calm voice as to not say anything to provoke her anymore than she probably was. "I was driving back from basketball practice with my mom, and I saw Tyler Michaels in a car with Shannon J. I was completely confused as to why they would be in the same car because she's a freshman and we're only 8th graders, but then I remembered reading something in Seventeen magazine I read at my grandmas house a couple weeks ago because she just got back surgery and..."

"Margot I don't care about your grandmothers surgery. What about Tyler and Shannon?" She answered paranoid that her friend can change topics completely. "Oh right, it said that guys go for older woman because they are either deprived of things with younger girls or they are trying to make their crush jealous. And he's always staring at you during 7th period. It's not a coincidence that they're together..."
