Chapter 2: I Need A Little Help Over Here

Cisco and Caitlin were trying everything to fix Clarence but nothing was working. Time was running out and Clarence was thinking if ways to tell her brother about her situation. Clarence was the only one in the main room of S.T.A.R labs when Detective West came in.

Clarence POV

I saw him and he saw me, but when he saw me he drew out his gun.

"What are you doing here?"he asked. I put my hands up in surrender when I said, "Nothing, I'm just here for help."

"Sure, you are. Are they here?" He said. I nodded my head.

"Guys! I need some help over here!" He yelled. Cisco, Caitlin, Wells, and Barry all came rushing in.

"Woah. Joe, put the gun down. She's not the enemy here." Barry told him.

"You sure about that?" He said.

"Yes, we already went through this, and besides I knew her in high school." Barry replied.

"Barry, believe me. She has changed." Joe said still pointing the gun at her.

"And what makes you say that?" he asked.

"You remember the animal attacks these past weeks that always had two victims? The whole police station thought there wasn't a connection because the bite marks on the victims were different from the other cases and they thought it was just a random freak show. That is until I saw her the other night change back into a human and I knew it had to be her. It's the only explanation. A metahuman that can change, a shapeshifter that hides in the shadows until now." he stated. Everyone looked at me in shock but none was more heartbreaking than the look Barry was giving me. He looked at me like I was some sort of monster.

"Why?" Barry asked.
