⥤ Chapter Fourteen : Eywa ⥢
Lo'ak goes to Kiri and (Y/N)'s part of the hut, excited to see Payakan again with (Y/N).
Kiri is awake, playing with (Y/N)'s hair as the Avatar still lays empty.
"She's not..?" He begins. (Y/N) is usually awake and in her Avatar by now.
Kiri shrugs, understanding that her friend can't help it. She wonders if Norm is mad at her for coming back late the night before.
"I wanted to take her ... uh, we were supposed to ... uh check this place out together." Lo'ak struggles to not give away their secret friend.
"Why don't you come with the rest of us? Tsireya and Ao'nung are taking us to their Spirit Tree." Kiri is excited to see the tree, and eager to bring (Y/N) along.
Lo'ak rolls his eyes. "I'm not going." He doesn't wish to see Ao'nung quite yet. "I'll be back later."
Kiri turns to warn him, "Be back before dark. We don't need dad getting mad again."
Lo'ak reluctantly leaves the hut, wishing (Y/N) would be awake to come with him.

Norm let's (Y/N) sleep in. This is the first time she hasn't woken herself up early to get into her Avatar.
When she finally wakes, a feeling sinks into her gut.
"I couldn't put my finger on it, but something felt off that day."
She goes to hug Norm tightly before returning to her Avatar. She finds Max as well, and some other scientists. She hugs many who have helped raise her and Spider.

When (Y/N) returns to her Avatar, she is delighted to see Kiri so excited about visiting the Spirit Tree.
She is angered though, as Kiri leaves out the part where Ao'nung and Roxto will be coming with.
"Kiri, I don't know if I want to go," (Y/N) hesitates, not ready to see the two who abandoned Lo'ak.
"Please?" Kiri holds (Y/N)'s hands. "I want to see the Spirit Tree with you!"
(Y/N), knowing how special Kiri is and her connection to everything, agrees to see the Spirit Tree with her.
Tsireya leads everyone on their ilus to the Spirit Tree. Neteyam has come along, as well as Tuk — who rides with Kiri.
(Y/N) is alone on Raya, wishing Lo'ak would be by her side. She realizes that he may have went to see Payakan.
Ao'nung swims to be beside her, his eyes looking to say an apology. He says nothing out loud though, (Y/N) not giving him the chance to. She speeds up her ilu.

The Spirit Tree is tucked into a cove. Tsireya circles around the tree — their tree being underwater, of course. Nightfall has come, the tree glows beneath the sea.
One by one, they all dive in. Kiri feels excitement. But (Y/N) feels .. uneasy.
She takes a deep breath, before diving in. She sees all her friends have connected their queues to the tree.
She does the same thing, diving down to connect to the tree — her oceanic features have not come forward yet.
She finally comes face to face with the Mother of Pandora.
She's in the forest. Joyful yips can be heard from all around her, as her friends run past her.
Kiri is the last to come running, stopping to face her friend. There's silence, as Kiri walks around (Y/N).
(Y/N) jumps around, finally facing Kiri. As the girls stand still, the forests around them have disappeared. They now stand in shallow water on a beach.
(Y/N) goes to move, Kiri copying her every move like a reflection. (Y/N)'s expression is confused.
"You really want to use these things?" Spider's voice can be heard from behind her — referencing to the time they were in the lab, looking at their Avatars.
(Y/N) turns around quickly, startled by his voice. She's excited to see her brother. She holds up a hand, ready to call out to him, but he begins to mimic her too, like a reflection.
(Y/N) stands between her Na'vi friend and her human brother.
A bright light shines above her, it's presence powerful. Eywa.
(Y/N) looks at the decision in front of her, finally understanding the choices Eywa has offered.
Meanwhile, Kiri's vision causes her to convulse. She starts seizing, making everyone disconnect themselves from the trees.
As Neteyam reaches his sister, (Y/N) begins to convulse from her vision too.
Tsireya swims to quickly disconnect (Y/N)'s queue from the tree. Ao'nung goes to grab her and resurfaces, Neteyam bringing Kiri to the surface too.
"What's happening?" Tuk asks, worried for her sister and friend.
"I think they had seizures," Neteyam tries to answer.
The two girls have stopped breathing, their bodies motionless. Neteyam begins CPR on Kiri. Ao'nung does the same procedure on (Y/N), unaware of the Avatar. Tsireya brings Tuk onto her ilu, ready to lead everyone home.
Kiri breathes once again. Neteyam finally notices Ao'nung, who is panicked over (Y/N).
"She's fine, my father can help!" Neteyam motions toward Tsireya, the girl taking off to bring everyone home.
Ao'nung carries the unconscious (Y/N), her Avatar still not breathing. He worries she would have died disappointed at him for what he did to Lo'ak.

Meanwhile, (Y/N)'s human body wakes up. Her asthma kicks in as her body panics.
The pod lights up with lights and it sounds loud alarms, alerting to everyone of (Y/N)'s state.
Her eyes roll to the back of her head, as her body convulses like her Avatar has.
Norm, as well as Max and other scientists, rush in. Norm opens the pod, trying to pull (Y/N) on her side during her seizure. He worries, eyes getting teary.
Then, her body becomes still. Her Avatar and human body simultaneously become still and silent.
Norm's body stiffens. He's watched this girl grow up, and is in disbelief.
