prefers wrapping his arms around your waist
if your shorter then him then he'll do that thing where he kind of rests his arms on your shoulders

if he does, he's usually very excited about something, so he'll grab you by your waist and kind of spin you around (think ballroom dancing)
when you're tired, he'll carry you bridal style to your bed
