For the rest of that day, the three of us spent it in Cedric's room in the Hufflepuff house.

We all drank a little bit, and just hung out and talked.

Before we knew it, it was dark.

We decided that sleeping in Cedric's room was the best choice.

With the Yule Ball approaching soon, I didn't want to risk getting caught in the halls this late... let alone being drunk.

"So let me get this straight... after the police came, you jumped out the window a story up... and ran?!" Cedric  gasped at my story.

We all sat on the floor, surrounded by blankets and pillows.

"Yes.  I was drunk.... and didn't have any shoes on. I ran four blocks, and hid on someone's bushes for about 30 minutes or so... until I walked the rest of the way home." I chuckled, as I sipped my drink.

"And here I thought you were nothing but a good girl." Draco chimed in.

That made my heart weak.

I don't know if it was the way he said it, or what... but Draco Malfoy has really made an impression on me.

I thought about him constantly.

Sweet thoughts of Draco always occupied my mind.

"Did Cho find a dress?" I quickly changed the subject.

"Yeah, it's like a silver-ish blue thing..." Cedric smiled.

He looked at me while he talked, then he turned to Draco.

"You going?" Cedric asked Draco in a more serious tone.

Draco swallowed hard, then looked down at his lap.

"I don't know." Draco shrugged.

He tried to play it off like he didn't care about the dance, but deep down inside he did.

"You don't have to ask someone, you can just go." Cedric spoke.

I laid down, and closed my eyes.

Draco talking about the dance made me nervous for some reason.

I don't know why it did.

There was no reason to be, I was still going with Fred.

"Well, I could make an appearance... I would have to get a suit." Draco replied.

It was soothing to hear Cedric and Draco talk back and forth.

It was nice that they had developed a good friendship.

"Well, someone finally fell asleep." Cedric said quietly.

I didn't reply, I just laid there silently.

I truly was tired, and to lazy to talk back.

"It only took about a tub full of flavored liquor." Draco laughed.

The lights were shut off, and there was movement on both sides of me.

Which I assumed it was the boys finally laying down for the night.

A blanket was draped over me.

"Cedric?" Draco said, he was laying on my right side.

"Yes?" Cedric replied from my left side.

"How did you ask Cho?"

"Well, I just asked.  It's just a simple question.   I pulled her aside and asked her to go to the ball with me.   You planning on asking someone?"

"Maybe. I'll sleep on it." Draco said.

After a while of silence, Cedric began to softly snore.

"Good night, my darling. " Draco had whispered into my ear, as he softly ran his hand through my hair.

My darling?

When did this all of a sudden happen?

My thoughts continued to race, as I slowly drifted off to sleep.

...

I woke up, when the sun began to rise.

When I opened my eyes, the first thing that I saw... was Draco Malfoy.

Draco had every one of his limbs wrapped around me.

I slithered out of his grip, and I stood up slowly.

"You've gotten yourself in quite the pickle." Cedric spoke loudly, causing me to jump.

I turned to see he was sitting up against his bed.

"How do you mean?" I asked.

"You tell me.  Anyone who drinks like that is stressed about something." Cedric crossed his arms over his chest.

He was right.

I sighed, and swallowed hard.

"You've got promise not to tell anyone." I whispered, glancing at Draco.

He was out cold.

"When have I ever let you down?" Cedric asked.

"Well, it's a long story but Draco and I kissed... but Fred and I also kissed.  I just don't know what to do! I'm going to the dance with Fred and all, but we're not dating.  But at the same time Draco has been cruel to me all this time... but this year is different..." I trailed off.

Cedric had a surprised look frozen on his face.

Which quickly turned to laughter.

"What the fuck. I've got nothing." Cedric laughed.

I don't know whether he was laughing out of fear, confusion or both.

"That doesn't really help.... but I- I better get going back to my room.  Thanks for letting me crash here." I gave him a simple wave before I left.

The walk back to the Gryffindor commodore was very quiet.

The only sound I could hear was my footsteps on the cold, hard floor.

As I got a glance of the outside through a window, I saw it was snowing.

The large, white flakes flew down from the sky very quickly.

Judging by the amount on the ground, it must have snowed all night.

The snow was beautiful, I always thought it was.

I liked the was it sparkled in the sunlight.

I liked how when it snowed, the world always seemed a little more quiet.

As I walked through the door of the Gryffindor house, Fred Weasley laid on the couch in the commonroom.

His eyes opened the instant he heard the door nob turn.

"Where were you!? I waited up for you all night!?" Fred yelled, he was angry.
