Once Upon a Time, there was a gentleman who married his second wife, the proudest and most haughty woman that was ever seen.
She had by former husband, two daughters of her own. The older sister was named Diana and the younger sister was named Galaxia. The two sisters were exactly like their mother in every way.
He had likewise, by another wife, a young daughter named Mina.
But unlike the two sisters, She was of unparalleled goodness and sweetness of temper, which she inherited from her mother, whom she praised for all of her life.
No sooner were the ceremonies of the wedding over but the stepmother began to show herself in her true colours.
She couldn't bear the good qualities of the pretty girl, and the less because they made her own daughters appear unpleasant.
She employed Mina to do the dirty housework. She cleaned the dishes, tables, etc and cleaned the Stepmother's chamber, and those of misses, her daughters.
