A few days later, by the blow of the trumpet, The prince made an announcement. "I shall marry the girl whose foot fits the slipper." proclaimed Charles and he asked the castle staff to make a banner for the kingdom to know about the news.
He made a promise to marry the girl whose foot fit the slipper.
For many days, Charles and his men visited every house in the kingdom. They tested the slipper on every woman in the household but the slipper didn't fit them.
Charles felt hopeless as he felt there weren't any other houses in the kingdom for him to try.
"Your Majesty, Don't give up." said the footman. "There's still one more house we left out." he told Charles.
"Who's house is it?" Charles asked the footman.
"Lady Aino and her three daughters." answered the footman and when Charles heard the name, he continued his mission and he travelled all the way to Minako's house.
