I woke up with A jolt, my breathing heavy as I stared around the place me and my love had secured for our little family that happened to only be very little ways away from my sister and her kids's home.

I looked over towards my daughters make shift "den" she liked to call it only for her to be gone. Panic quickly rose, my breathing growing haywire as I practically started shoving Tsu'tey awake.

"Flower?" He sat up before taking notice of the situation quickly.

"Where's Nakana!?" He rose up to his feet, his body whipping around in all directions for our daughter, hoping for her to be in one of the corners she liked to sit it, sharpening whatever stick she decided was good enough to launch at people.

"I don't know." We quickly started getting mad at each other, fear blinding us as we raced out of our home, our head whipping in all directions, hoping to spot A tall 13 year old girl with long braids and beads down her back.

We both came to a full stop having caught sight of our dear girl sitting down staring up at the night sky, her head tilted from what we could see.

Sensing we were here, she turned her head towards us with A smile when she seen me before it dropped completely, probably seeing the look of stress on both of our face.

I tried grabbing Tsu'tey, but it was too late because in no time he was crouched down, a glare of full disappointment as he seemingly told her off.

"Tsu'tey, lay off." He looked up at me, bewilderment as clear as the shining stars above us, twinkling like the diamonds in the high mountains.

"Eko, she didn't tell us she were out here! What if she were taken away." I looked at him, my nonexistent eyebrows rising as I considered his words.

"Nakana, what's on your mind?" I sat beside her, looking up at the stars while my husband stared at us annoyed.

"I was wondering where I came from..y'know, before I became apart of this family." I was shocked, sure, I always knew she'd ask but not right now. But no matter, if she wanted to know now, why not tell her?

"Well darling, I was flying along the forest tree's with Bahiyya when I heard the screams of a baby. I didn't really think too much of it as I crept up in the bushes looking for the small creature that was fussing in A forest filled with predators, hungry predators when I came across A small beautiful blue child no older than 1years old. Tears streamed down its face, not noticing as I krept closer to it.

Soon I was directly above it, taking notice that it was in fact A she when the infant opened her beautiful green eyes that weirdly looked so much like Tsu'tey's.

The baby looked up at me, shock turning into A big gummy smile. I kept my eyes trained on her until I heard A snap ahead  towards the tree's making me freeze completely.

A Thanator krept along the tree line, its eyes trained on me and the baby that was now as quiet as Eywa's sacred seeds.

I slowly picked up the baby, careful not to set the predator off as it stared heavily at me, drool escaping its mouth as I backed away, as slow as I could.

The Thanator gave no warning before it sprinted towards me, no care for the baby I held dear to my chest.

I grabbed the knife from my chest holder, dodging the Thanator's leap as it tried snagging at me, pearl white teeth as sharp as the knife in my hand.

I crouched low, the baby hidden against my chest as I waited for the animals next strike.

I hissed, my ears pulling back as I waited.

But the animal didn't get far for as soon as it leaped, my sisters arrow pierced deep inside its chest rising A broken whine from it as it layed at my feet.

Blood spilling everywhere, touching the smooth skin if my feet.
