The Blood in my Past

Chapter 10: Gateway

The four laid out on a hill just outside the Gateway, camouflaged by their Gilly suits. Ghost and Gaz were on the outside of the group, scoping the area with their sniper rifles. Soap and Elizabeth were in the center sharing a spotter scope to survey the entrance to the shipping yard.

"Okay, I will head down there and find a way past the guard. Soap stay on survey, let me know if anything is heading my way. Once inside you three head to the southwest side of the fence, cut your way in." Elizabeth commanded while looking through the scope still. She past it back to Johnny making eye contact with him.

"You and Gaz will be on missiles, I'll make my way to the offices and find where they're located. Once you have them, plug these in" She said as she handed Soap two small flash drives.

"You're going to have to boot them up at the same time. I will walk you through the controls, It's going to make some noise, so watch your backs, take out any hostiles quietly." She clarified looking toward the men, who gave her a nod, then turned to Ghost.

"Ghost, you're with me. Keep to the shadows, while I search the buildings. Once I confirm eyes on Petrov, that's when you make your move." She continued as she turned back towards the shipping yard.

"Bag him, quickly and quietly. We will rendezvou back at the truck, no one engages with him until we're back at the safe-house, is that understood?" She finished and all three men gave her a nod in agreement.

"What's your plan to get pass the Guard?" Soap questioned.

"Don't worry about that." She exclaimed as she crouched down and started making her way down the hill toward the shipping yards' parking lot, taking cover every so often.

Elizabeth made it to the car park, she took cover in the grass around it. Ghost was keeping a close eye on her surroundings when he noticed a truck heading down the road and turned into the entrance of the parking lot. He nudged Soap to get his attention to what he was seeing, and Soap clicked into his radio.

Soap: Cat, you got a vehicle incoming, to your south, white pick up truck.

Cat: Copy.

The truck parked just three spots down from where she was hiding in the grass. Elizabeth moved onto the asphalt, crouching down behind one of the other cars. She quickly discarded her Gilly suit and through it into the grass. She removed all her tactical gear before she let her hair out from it's bun and her blonde locks fell pass her shoulders, concealing the radio's battery on the side of her neck and the cored going to her ear. She was left in only her tight black joggers and a black tactical jumper as she made her way to the back side of the row of cars walking toward the truck. Ghost had no clue to what she was doing, just kept his sights on her, while Soap turned towards him.

"What the hell is she doing?" Soap exclaimed while looking to ghost. Ghost refused to take his eye off her, just watching what was about to play out. A man hopped out from the pick up, closing his door and slipping on a yellow safety vest. Elizabeth walked up to him, tapping him on the shoulder and the man turned to face her. Ghost didn't have a clear shot if something where to happen, he could only see the back side of the man's head as Elizabeth stood behind him. The team couldn't make out what was being said, they only could see Elizabeth's hands move about as she talked and she pointed to the far end of the parking lot where she had came from. The man nodded and the pair started walking off. Once Elizabeth was near the vehicle where she had discarded her gear, she took a step back, pulling out what appear to be a wire from her sleeve.

Elizabeth lunged at the man, slipping the cord around the man's neck and began to strangle him. The man through his whole body weight back on to her causing the two to fall, hitting the ground. With the man now on top of her, Elizabeth wrapped her legs around his torso making sure he wouldn't get away. Ghost watched has his feet thrashed about for a minute before he went still, just laying there.
